All this talk about no one ever getting married in her family happened because they were used to the traditional form of marriage proposal. As a man or woman in Nigeria, try and raise just 1Million for any struggling man or woman in exchange for marriage and see whether they won't marry you. The problem is, the marriage won't last. So, in the end, it is not about getting married, but staying married because you married a high value partner.

This is why I laugh whenever some people think that marriage is an achievement or that it is very difficult for a woman to get married. Like I have always maintained, it is very easy to get married to a second hand man, and unfortunately, most married women in Nigeria are with these type of men, but the men are deluded to think that they are the prize and the women are proud because they have a 'Mrs' tag hanging across their shoulders.

By the way, that man I see in the picture looks very cute and young. I can bet on my life that he is cuter than more than 70% of guys on this forum. So, can someone explain why he chose to settle for a 'night newspaper', when he can get so many day newspapers on the display stand?

I hands pass the guy joor, but na that one you wan chop? It's good for a woman to get married between the age of 23-30.

People truly underestimate the battles in the Spiritual World.

I know 3 families, wealthy and educated.

All 3, the husbands were adulterous and polygamous. Those 2 sins sowed seeds in their lineages that are still reaping bad fruit.

One of them, all his sons have k-leg. Every one of them has one issue or the other (marital, health, debt, fraud, career etc). He's still settling their issues in his twilight years. And he's lonely in his old age, upon the polygamy.

The other one lost his wealth and the 2nd wife left him. He died in a shameful, lonely manner And alienated some of his kids. He had no male grandchildren to carry his name to the next generation. And not one of his sons married before the age of 40, all married very late.

3rd one, not a single marriage standing in 5 kids. He can't tell you where the few grandkids he has are, because the wives were leaving his sons and taking the kids to remarry (so other men trained his grandchildren), his daughters no kids.

Truly, the Bible doesn't lie. The sins of the father will be visited onto the next generations. It sounds like fiction when you're hearing it as a young, happy newly-wed. Until you enter it and see it for yourself.

There are so many patterns people need to break in their marriages and families.

I'm happy for this woman.

Nope I am in order. A family like that is usual considered osu.

People that come for marriage when they find out about the family history. They will run away.
