No one is denying that, but it is important to separate colonial development from cultural ownership..

It was already a yoruba settlement led by the Awori

and later under some yoruba groups before colonial era

The European only made lagos their base..because it was already a well established and strategic yoruba town

See i am not contesting whether Yoruba land belongs to anyone. What I know is that all the ethnic lands in Nigeria have been politically and administratively divided into states. So if your part of Yoruba land does not fall within the boundaries of Lagos, you are not a Lagosian and the state does not belong to you. So stop using that disguise to malign the indigenous people of Lagos and face your own state in SW.
