What Yahaya Bello Did To A Notorious Band!t Leader Who Vowed To Terror!z£ Kogi State — Man Reveals

In 2019 Kogi State was invited to a 'North Central Security Summit' which turned out to be a 'peace meeting' with band!ts in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Former Governor Yahaya Bello arrived and saw other governors of the region and the nation's top security agency heads seated while leaders of the bandits, terrorists, kidnappers, etc were strutting in like princes and preening like peacocks, adorned with Kalashnikovs and slung about the neck with bandoliers of bullets.

He protested vehemently, declaring that he cannot and will not sit with or negotiate with criminals. When his colleagues and other attendees were minded otherwise, he took his people and left the meeting.

One of the most notorious band!ts there had the temerity to confront him, promising to pay special attention to his territory and make it ungovernable for him. #WhiteLion only promised him that the day he crossed over to Kogi would be his last.

Long story made short. Within a couple of months the bandit leader was hunted down and eliminated.

Let us assume the first set of governors were naive, why have subsequent ones not learnt from the previous mistakes?

When Funke Olakurin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti was murdered instead of Bola Tinubu to make sure that the perpetrators were brought to book, he ended up making fun of the death of the young lady by turning everything into tribalism by showing his hates for Igbos.

Mrs Olakunrin died of gunshot wounds in July 2019 after her vehicle was attacked by armed men, suspected to be marauding Fulani bandits whose violent activities had reached a frightening level across the southwest states.


Those arrested suspects include Lawal Mazaje, 40, from Felele area of Kogi State; Adamu Adamu, 50, from Jada area of Adamawa State; Mohammed Usman, 26, from Illela area of Sokoto State and Auwal Abubakar, 25, from Shinkafi area of Zamfara State....

However, the leader of the team, identified only as Tambaya, and three others are yet to be found.

Tambaya has been declared wanted by the police and he is said to be capable of communicating in Hausa, Fulfude and Pidgin English.
