I recently turned 45 and i manage to sell the only piece of land I have for 2m few days ago.
Currently I have no place of my own..
I stay with a friend for now untill I decide what to do with the money.
I am planning to use part of the money to rent house in pH and learn a skill.
Or rent a house and start hunting for jobs..
Renting a house and furnishing it with cost me 1m while I am left with 1m.
Please I need you people advise on what to do

Don’t try to spend the money now, try and be living with him till you get a skill to learn while you wait for a job.
You might not be able to get such money again.

You need something that’ll be giving you steady cash flow for now…if you can see where you’ll get korope on hire purchase, deposit 1M and start driving. Within a yr and half you should be able to pay off the balance and have the car. If you’re discipline enough, you should be able to rent your own apartment from the proceeds and then find some skill to learn if you really wanna learn and you can still be doing your business and job hunting for federal job since you’re working for yourself

You should have waited to learn the skill first before selling the land, if you're not careful you will blow the money on irrelevancies.

My advise to you now is to look for a way to keep that money intact until you're ready to use it, put it in a fixed deposit if you must but avoid any of these online money doubling schemes!

first u made a big mistake selling that land. U are supposed to go and learn a skill first then after the skill u can sell d land. But u never learn skill and u never see who wan sell u job , u rush go sell land. Next thing u go spend the money anyhow. More so, Why would u want to leave in a house that cost almost 1 milion. Why u go even dey think about furnishing the house at this stage... U have no busines with anything fancy for now till u get ur self. Somethings are to better to be left the way they are for now till u get to your feet. Menh, this ur big man mentality dey fear me oo-

Bro, from what I'm seeing, you wish to squander that money. You have 2M. Are you gonna tell me you can't find an apartment for about a 150k - 200k? Then, you get the necessary furnitures for now. In fact, what happened to your old furnitures? You need to be very prudent with that 2M, if not, it will finish in a twinkle of an eye.
