The landlord will only sell what he is buying. If mortgage is expensive for him then he cant do but pass it on to the tenants. Its for socialist like Mandani and the democrats who have a fetish on taxing people out of existence to think about the effects on regular folks

Mamdani has not said he will tell landlords what to charge. What he said he will and can do is freeze government owned social housing rent.

As for tax. I don't have a problem with the uber wealthy paying a couple percent more. It's not exactly gonna hurt a trillion dollar ceo much I don't think. But if they that greedy and selfish and don't wanna pay, they can bugger off to Iowa.
