Hafiz Ibrahim scores again in Ligue 2. 3 goals in last 3 games (including tonight) for the Young Nigerian CF starring for Stade Reims.

Dominion Ohaka, RB on the bench for Lommel SK in Belgium's Challenger Pro. Anglo Nigerian, Timothy Eyoma starts at RB.

Ebenezer Akinsanmiro starts for Pisa vs Cremonese. And if you watch closely, he is already attacking the halfspaces with only 3-4mins played. He is a creative/combative Mezzala. Anyone profiling him as a CDM only dont know what they are saying

Moses Simon also starts for Paris FC in Ligue 1 vs Rennes

Victor Boniface subbed on for Bremen.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by M7even(m): 10:02pm On Nov 07, 2025
Nawa ooo hear excuse way striker dey give. 😂

Boniface you are a striker not a goalkeeper, if I check live score to see if you've scored that's because it is the constructed standard for a striker of your caliber .
mekabuachi:
Victor Boniface shares his thoughts on his performances with the Nigeria Super Eagles: "I'd say I'm just unlucky when it comes to scoring goals with the national team. I know there are a few matches where I played really well, but finding the net is currently the most crucial aspect in the world of football."

"If people don't even watch the game, they go on live score to see you has scored. When they see you score, you are Ronaldinho. You know, people don't watch the game. So, I'm sorry for those people that think that way."

One of my biggest childhood dreams as a footballer was to wear the green and white jersey and represent my country, which I managed to achieve through my own effort. I strived hard to reach this point, and I’m genuinely grateful for that."

"It doesn't work bad. It doesn't work good. That doesn't mean I'm a bad player or anything. I'm really happy I represented my country anyway,.

Seems like Boniface has given up on ever representing Nigeria again... Sad😪

These Cremomese guys don injure Akinsanmiro as he went on one of his ball carrying runs through the left halfspace of the final third. He has had a solid game but leaves injured holding his right arm. I hope it's not so serious.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by M7even(m): 10:11pm On Nov 07, 2025
Why that is quite thoughtful , we should remember we are not the only body concerned and our interest cannot be an absolute, it is good we voice our grievances before the D-Day but it is far fetched to disrupt a carefully planned selection by FIFA. I think it is best we allow the official carry on , now that they are aware all eyes are on them, this way it will play in our favour because if they goof we will call it a foul play and I sure know those referees will err on the side of caution for that fear of doing wrong and losing their badge will be too much a price to pay on the alter of sentiments
semid4lyfe:
The South African Sports Minister openly stated that he does not want Nigeria to qualify for the World Cup.

With that kind of bias coming from such a high-ranking official, it’s only natural for the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Nigerian fans to be concerned so the decision to question and reject the appointment of South African referees for our World Cup Qualifier playoff against Gabon is completely justified.

No one expects fair officiating from a country whose top sports official has already shown open hostility toward Nigeria’s qualification for the World Cup. The NFF is right to demand neutral referees to protect the integrity of the match and avoid unnecessary controversy.

Akinsanmiro should be starting in our midfield when available.
I see no reason why he shouldn't

I will like to see a midfield that has Wilfred Ndidi, Raphael Onyedika and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, with Wilfred Ndidi serving the DM role.
With these players plying the middle, we can confortably switch from an all-attacking approach to a very conservative approach and still be very effective.

When we are without the ball, I will apply Onyedika and Ndidi in ways that will frustrate the opponent's moves.

Iwobi is a pressing machine, he should be played as a forward, he is needed in more advanced areas. Iwobi will serve us more as a forward that can drop deep to orchestrate plays and then move to the winger position to help in the final phases of an attack, he is such a player, we will be so effective.

With Iwobi on the left, Chukwueze on the right and with a good composition of play we will score goals. When players like Onyedika and Akinsanmiro are helping to support the attack we will be effective, we have the wingers and center forwards that can do the job.

He is most likely going to miss this playoffs due to a shoulder injury.
