I guess the governor of Anambra is an OYO Man while the governor of imo is an hausa man from kano. Hausa call you to defend your ass you are involving yoruba.
Dogalmighty17:
Funny that this question is coming from a Hausa lady. But since she is dumb, it might help her to know that while the Hausa and Yoruba choose to focus on politics, the Igbo largely control Nigeria's commercial and economic life. This cannot be overstated.

Questions like this are answered with stas and numbers because data doesn't lie. It has nothing to do with the civil war stories.

BTW, I understand that many Igbos carry a lot of hurt due to the civil war. However, you must learn to question everything you were told.

If NNPC refused to drill crude oil in Imo and Abia to keep the South East economy unproductive, why is the same NNPC investing millions of dollars in a JV with Seplat to build the biggest gas company in Nigeria, ANOH Gas plant, in Imo State?

By the way, I am a proud Igbo guy, but questions like this should be answered with 13% derivative sharing formula data to show states whose petrollars are used to feed the entire country.
Who dash you Igbo?

Do you know how much the government makes from import duties?
Do you know the number of importers from southeast that contribute to import duties?

You meant petty trade business.

Why is no ibo man listed on Forbes top 1,000 in Africa?

Why is there no ibo business dynasty like that of Dantata, Ibru ?

Be doing lizard pressups.

Don't mind him. Their region, for example, contribute one of the lowest VAT of any Nigerian region yet collect the heaviest from the central pot.

I could give ten examples of their parasitism on the rest of Nigeria that shows the poster you responded to, and most of his ethnic kinsmen, are delusional and brainwashed with tales from infancy of how great they are and how they are "developers" and saviours of others.

No greater empty barrel on earth than those lot.
Yorubas claims to generate so much revenue and vat. Claims to be the most productive region. Yet Yorubas are scared to death of being on their own. They are scared of keeping all the so called revenue they generate for themselves, they rather fight to remain in one Nigeria and keeping sharing their revenue with unproductive regions. Empty barrels

If you are truly Igbo and you are asking this question then I doubt your true origin and ancestry because you can't be Igbo, not possible.

The only thing that can answer this baseless question and those always mocking and taunting Igbos to go back to their barren region is complete division of Nigeria so that each emerging country from Nigeria can prove their productivity to others after like 10 years of division.

How can I answer baseless questions like this when some Yorubas will still come out tomorrow to brag that Yoruba and Tinubu developed Lagos state to what it is even when we are still witnesses to how they have been using federal government policies to concentrate development, infrastructures and everything good in Lagos, leaving the Southeast to lay fallow.

I honestly doubt your true origin and ancestry, thank you

Keep lying to yourself. No greater and more formally organised advocates (DAWN commission) of regional autonomy than the law-abiding Yorubas who know that secession is an exercise in futility as long as it is decreed an act of treason by the Nigerian constitution.

The Yoruba, through the work of the DAWN commission, have an impressive and well-illustrated 'road map' for the development of the SW, through regional integration.

This is in in contrast with you empty and insincere Biafra noisemaker yet to produce one articulate document about the precise methodology that will aid the socio-economicgrowth and development of Biafra. All you do is make empty noise.

Furthermore, Yorubas remain in their region the most of the four major ethnic group of Nigeria (i.e Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and Fulanis) showing they are happy with themselves and their land.

Whereas you lawless lot who make Biafra gaslighting noise daily, you know our constitution forbids, are the most parasitically dispersed Nigerians by far.

If hypocrisy and insincerity were a group of people on Earth then everyone knows who those people are.

This is not a classroom were everyone is restricted to question and answer, besides in objective questions such as this, answers like this are accepted since they are in line with the subject (Southeast & economy) what gibberish are you yapping in the name of countering an obvious fact. even if he drops two pages statistics/data it can never be enough for critics. It doesn't matter which part you are from. As for me I enjoyed his writeups.
reaseon; it opens doors for researchers to explore.

This is just big grammar. Tinubu should restructure this country so that everyone will control their resources and pay taxes to the centre. Once that is done, nobody will be asking these kinds of silly questions.

I'm surprised that Tinubu has refused to set the motion for restructuring after calling for it for over a decade. Politicians are horrible people.
Tell how much you guys contributed to the VAT and Tax from your region?
Apart from propaganda and lots of shenanigans your region contribute one of the lowest VAT of any Nigerian region yet collect the heaviest from the central pot.

Ondo state produce crude oil than your region. Please don't add South South.
Don't forget that crude has been discovered in Bauchi and other Northern state and soon now they will add to the quota as well.
The North have the most richest man from Africa yet you are the developer of every region.
You make so much noise about marginalisation but your governors has been collect big funds from the FAAC since 2023 and yet nothing to show for it. Security votes in millions to billions yet nothing has been done to the IPOB menace except for sit at home Monday and you all come here to spew nonsesn

The question is very stupid. If the igbos leave Lagos alone, that city would grind to a halt. Your electronics, vehicle spare parts, construction materials are largely sold by igbos.

I served in the inner part of the north where u can never find one yoruba man and any other tribe other than the Bush Fulani men. And do u know who is helping them to deliver their babies, attend to their pregnancy needs.

The igbo man and his wife.

The first Pharmacy in Bunza is a owned by a igbo man,the mechanic workshop's are owned by igbos. The gen parts are owned by the same igbos.

I saw these things first hand in 2009/2010.

May God forgive u for lying.
Others have explored outside Nigeria, you guys are just catching up. In Ghana for example the Yoruba's started the spare part business decades ago

Just because others don't make noise with their presence at somewhere don't mean they are not there

Also ask yourselves this question: is it possible for Imo state, Abia and Anambra states communities separated by very thin line borders to not have as much crude oil deposits with Rivers and Delta their next door neighbors? It's all a planned sabotage against Igbos and Southeast handed over to Northern Nigeria by the evil British government.
The person that coined the 6 geopolitical zones is none other than Alex Ekweme, an Igboman

Igbos can only gaslight the uninformed, this your revisionism falls flat in the face of facts
