What do they stand for, what are they preaching ,and what is their goal or agenda.

I have a childhood friend I haven't seen in years now since he joined the sect.

Whenever I injected to a thing they taught & appealed for contextual harmony with the scriptures they either doubled down and read their meaning into the text or/and turn to "when you get home pray & ask the Spirit".

About your friend, it's no wonder. It's the natural consequence of them being fed the mantra that it's only that sect that knows and has the truth.

Yeah, the guy used to be cool. He was a strong Christian but around 2015 or 2016, he started mingling with them. Tried to recruit me too but I wasn't feeling it so I dipped.

Is it also true that they're against worldly education? I hear they're planning to build their own schools

As my custom is, I only make my opinions & dissociate from a group after at least 5 attendances and I have raised my objections.

I didn't hear attack on worldly education when I went there but I wouldn't be surprised if they do indeed reject it. The grid of their reasoning will likely end up there one day.

If we really repent why do we sin again displeasing who we say we indeed love?
Previously I saw something about doctrine of men, with the holy Spirit don't you think you can tell when someone isn't for Christ? It can't be hidden, it's either you are for Christ in his terms or not.

The bolded sounded like falling into the same sin once repented of means one didn't repent in the first place.

Yeah that's what I meant, and from my experience that's what the fellowship also teaches on how a person can really live without doing that, a genuine repentance.

At least I thought I had, and then time or rather the temptations or even desire to do a said thing that's against His words translates it not being genuine not that it wasn't genuine in the first place, and to meet you where you are, let me ask in spirit and Truth, since you've repented and follow Christ you have never gone back to Egypt according to the scriptures?
