Ghanaians have had enough of Nigeria dominating everything.

They're now asking whether it's only Nigerians that are in Africa, for them to be winning all the Grammy awards and nominations.

So this is just general Ghanaian frustration over Nigeria winning everything, both African and foreign.

I also saw another video where they were lamenting about how the Ghana movie industry had collapsed after Nollywood blanked their actors for collabo etc.... It's not just music.

This is one of the beauties of a strong united Nigeria. Smaller nations are envious. If we break into smaller tribes we will become like one of them. Northern muslims must decide what they want. Is it a strong and prosperous and big country, or a small Islamized country that has nothing to offer it's citizens. What value has Sharia brought for the North since Sani Yerima introduced Sharia in the North. Sultan and Islamic Council should design education programs that can add tangible values to the North instead of promoting national sharia that has nothing to offer.v Even Saudi Arabia is becoming less religious and more liberal to attract Americans and Europeans and guarantee their prosperity. Religion does not put food on the table. All religions are aberrations of the system and outdated. China is becoming stronger by the day by dumping religion. Small time Muric will be shouting Sharia for the SW. What value has Murics Sharia added to South Westerners? How will Murics Sharia positively change SW GDP?

Nollywood made artists like Van Vickers, Nadia Buhari, Jackie Appiah etc very famous and rich

It’s not even about that. It’s glaring that Nigerian leads in the African entertainment industry, but the point is that, some people are not just worth the nomination.

Davido, Wiz and Burna have had their peaks and released good music in the past, but as of date, in all truthfulness, these guys are not performing and should not be in the nomination.

Many Nigerian artiste killed it far ahead of them. I am lover of Wiz’s songs, but of recent, if truth must be told, it’s all trash! Same with Davido and Burna.

Someone explained to me on this forum that, Grammy’s is a bidding of record labels and why artistes with strong record labels make it to nominations. It is never about the music but recognition to make more profit on their signed artistes.

What did Wiz, Burna and Davido sing compared to their other artiste. Combine all the hit tracks of the three in 24/25, it still cannot flaw the album of an artiste like BNXN.

Be it in music, economy, geo politics, arts, science, engineering…name it.

Don’t waste your energy; the patriotic ones are proud of our continental dominance in music and entertainment in general, as evidenced by those Ghanaian bitter kolas.

The Ghanaians taught us about Grammy but we have Mastered it. According to them, they are the one who started everything in Africa. Lol

Ghanaians cannot understand that it is the diversity of Nigeria that makes Nigerian artist outstanding talents in comparison to others.

Like someone said above, we should cherish that diversity that challenges and inspire Nigerians.

It is natural to be inspired to be the best in a cosmopolitan and diverse melting pot environment which is what Nigeria is.

I can't wrap my head around this every time! If no Nigerian wins, the "mob" will now starting dragging nothing!

What is it with us and seeking validation from foreigners?

We don't need Europeans to judge what's best African music-at least not in the way African artistes crave this thing likes it's oxygen!

As much as I say this, I don't blame them because we haven't come up with our own respectable African awards that can go toe to toe with the Grammy! The Grammy should be a "jara"!
