Good evening everyone, seeing that a couple of people here have been going for their physical appointments, I want to know if anyone has gotten their visas yet, and if so when did you go for your interview. I'm trying to gauge the timeline between interview and visa at this point. |

ayopipey:I think I can provide you with a response as same thing happened with my bro. You most likely didnt respond on time with the ZAB thing so they had rejected your application. Unfortunately you have to start the process all over again and this time ensure you upload all the requested documents at once. Im not too sure, you'll get any favorable response from the mails - But you can try though; maybe you get lucky. |

My case was a bit different. I got stuck at the preliminary/document check stage because I replied through the portal, thinking my message would go through in real time, but it didn’t. I reached out to explain my situation the same day my application was cancelled. In your case, since it’s been about three months, they might ask you to start over but still try calling and emailing. Consistent follow-up helped me get mine resolved. backoffice@lago.auswaertiges-amt.de and any email or pone numbers you can find on their website Goodluck! Mytime21: |

i did reply on time, mind you my university was recognised and also my degree type so i had believed i wouldn't need a ZAB not until when my documents went in for preliminary review and they requested me to change some documents did it only become evident that they wont allow just that alone for the ZAB , this was august already i pleaded for leniency as regards the ZAB cos at that point i couldn't do anything about it...i pleaded twice and my pleas fell on deaf ears as they said that is the only document that will suffice for the recognition of a university degree. mind you i had registered on the ZAB portal since last year but not having enough information for the chancenkarte as at when i applied in february was the reason..my understanding was once my university was recognised and my degree type recognised on the anabin database then i wouldn't be needing the ZAB. anyways now i have the ZAB but my portal already shows this "Your application cannot be processed Your application does not meet the necessary requirements or has not been submitted to the German mission responsible for you. It can therefore not be finalised." |

What’s your university name and what’s your exact degree type as written on your certificate? Maybe the degree type was slightly different? Kindly respond as this info will help us clarify why it was rejected ayopipey: |

I’m trying to make my payment to Expatrio, I selected the “pay in naira” option and the invoice it generated to me specifies the beneficiary as “Flywire” with a “Wema” bank account number, please I just want to confirm if it’s safe to go on with this transaction? foonshur: |

Guys what transcript document did you upload on ZAB for the recognition thing? I used and uploaded the student copy that we have but looks like they are asking for the university one in the response they sent today. I really am not clear on it. The response asked for " Official Transcript of Records" in the ZAB message box. I dont know if the school will even respond at this point. How did you guys go about it. This is month 3 and they finally respond with this request?. What did you guys upload from the school? or what did you guys send to them that made the request easy for y'all. Can anyone who's sucessfully gotten the ZAB thing give me a step by step, maybe something was missed in the application we made |

Hi, to understand your question well.... are you talking about the expatrio app itself or cardremit app? Susu25: |

Did my interview in June, but there's been some back and forth regarding my application, so I can’t say for sure what stage it’s currently at However, if you're reading this and you've gotten your visa, please can you share the timeline between interview and visa, so others can know what to expect. Thanks. Laryfrosh: |

I don't think you missed anything in your application, I used a student copy, and I know a couple people that did too So they might accept student transcripts for some applications but require official transcripts for others If there's anything I've learned in this whole process, it's that everything is handled on a case by case basis, what applies to one person might not apply to another Tifay: |

Hi everyone, I have a question. Does the Lagos embassy accept a statement of result in place of the original certificate for new graduates whose certificates are not yet ready? Has anyone here used a statement of result and had it accepted? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by anyimontana(m): 7:59pm On Nov 14, 2025 |
Diceman8:on the contrary, I submitted June ending, preliminary review was November beginning, and I made a mistake which they send me a mail after a week, and I sent the correct doc same day, and they said that I will get response in a week |

I have been seeing a lot of information about ZAB lately, and I want to be certain I’m not missing anything. I did checked the ANABIN database and found both my institution and degree listed, with my qualification classified as H+. Given this, do I still need to apply for the Statement of Comparability, or is it unnecessary in my case? |
| Re: Migrating To Germany For Free : The Chancekarte Discussions by cyberbro: 11:03am On Nov 15, 2025*. Modified: 4:25pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
gumroad:As long as you can see the exact name of your course e.g. BSc. Business Administration with H+, with the name of your institution, then you're good to go, no need for statement of comparability, just print or save as pdf. Where people often make a mistake is they think the school or degree type (e.g. BSc.) being listed is enough, which is totally wrong. The name of the particular course you studied in your institution must be listed there. |

Please those who have gotten to the preliminary review stage recently, can you update us when you joined the waiting list and when they finally responded to you for the preliminary review? Thank you |

Yes, my institution and course are listed and classified as H+. Thank you. cyberbro: |

cyberbro:Guys please listen to this advice. The name of the course and degree must be EXACTLY as stated in your degree. Our application was rejected in Late July because of this and we had to start the entire process again |
