Ironically some of our best games in the past are games where we are put on the defensive and have to play from the counter. Are Gabon setting themselves up to fail? Let's see sha.
Unknowingly, the coach doesn't know how already revealing his tactics, same thing rohr did..

It's no news that the NFF is a useless organisation, but you sometimes expect that they will pretend to care when it matters, but it appears that's expecting too much of them.

We have a critical playoff to prosecute and their only job is to ensure that players are as catered for as possible so all their concentration is to ensure victory this week. Why did they then lodge players in this dump? Iwobi reportedly posted where they are lodged and I am short of words. How do you even lodge your players here?

think it's the duty of Morocco (host country)to secure accomodations for Nigeria...
But I do agree with your first line tho NFF is useless

No it's not. While the Moroccans may help with logistics, member association are responsible for their player's welfare. Let's even go by the assumption that the Moroccan FA is responsible (which isn't true), the NFF is still supposed to have checked the "provided" accomodation spaces to see if it meets their player's need and should that not be the case immediately make alternative arrangements. Players shouldn't have to arrive to this nonsense.

The Olympics is probably the only time where nations have limited bandwidth on welfare provision for their teams. Game villages are assigned and countries work with what's provided. Even with that kind of extreme limitations, countries that care sometimes go over and beyond to get waivers for some members of their contingent to stay outside the games village because of convenience. I remember at the last Olympics, USA basketball had to pay for entire hotels to lodge their basketball teams and some of their top athletes. They literally flew in mattresses and other important items from the US just to ensure their athletes are comfortable.

We've known the NFF for their incompetence so it isn't surprising, but you'll at least expect that when a world cup ticket is literally on the line they'll do just a little more on the welfare side of things.

between the NFF and Morocco, I don't know who's to be blame TBF,
but this is beyond bad.
Just imagine where our senior team are camped, looking like a bad hostel in an unkept Nigerian university.(UNN). SMH undecided

These north African countries can be notorious sometimes.. so I won't blame NFF entirely for this, throughout the qualifiers no complaint about accomodations or whatsoever... E reach Morocco turn now, na abandoned hostel Dem carry them go 😂😂

One of the keys to this match lies in the ability to control not only the game but also the midfield," Mouyouma explained at a press conference monitored by allnigeriasoccer.com.

"I would be more focused on our ability to hold onto the ball, have more possession, not just possession for its own sake, but to dominate in our half of the field and progress together as a team."

Mouyouma added that his side's tactical plan involves forcing Nigeria to chase the game and play out of their comfort zone.

"It's because in possession, there's a phase where when the opponent does not have the ball, the opponent tends to get frustrated. It is important that we control the ball, that we control our opponent's emotions.

"You have to dominate possession, you have to get the opponent to run after the ball and play behind their lines because in reality what this team wants to do with their players is to find spaces behind us.

"We have to solve this problem - control of the game or almost all of the game into the opponent's half."

With qualification on the line, Mouyouma made it clear that efficiency in front of goal would be decisive.

"That brings us closer to their goal because, for this match, we only need to score one goal to qualify.

"That is the tactical approach from the technical staff of the Gabonese national team."
Hahaha hahaha hahaha if this man made this statement, that means he's afraid. Very afraid.

Osimhen said he would do everything to take Nigeria to the World Cup," Mouyouma said at Thursday's press conference.

"I think Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has already answered this question and demonstrated by scoring four goals against The Gambia.

"Against Burundi, he did not return to his club to prepare for the next fixtures. He stayed with his teammates to show that he really wants to lead the national team to the World Cup. So, I have almost nothing to say about Osimhen's words."
It's motivation, a call to unite his team behind him. But he also said in the last Afcon that he would do everything to bring the cup to Nigeria.

"Unfortunately, Ivory Coast won. Well, these are motivational words that everyone uses without conviction. It’s his opinion alone."

Why do these guys always get emotional, crash out and start ranting whenever Super Eagles are involved? 😂

The power and threat we pose on the continent when it comes to soccer is unmatched, even with North African teams join.

Unfortunately, NFF are dead bent on turning us to minnows.

I have always maintained that Lookman is a finisher..
Playing him as a winger will weaken his influence in games..
Watch this short video and see how he plays for Atalanta..

His best position is up top with Osimhen
Either play him there or bench him but certainly not as a winger

Show working on the pitch no be by cho cho.

Our players should just put their heads down and focus on the tactics and not engage in **** measuring contest about who get 'Passun' pass.

If you think the game against Gabon will not be tough, you need to fasten your belt and rethink again.

Gabon will be our biggest threat! They almost defeat the Ivorians home and away. Infact they struck the goalpost both home and away.

And in Auba, they have a threat we have not faced in years!

If we beat Gabon, nothing else will stop us!

Which coach discusses his tactics before a game.

We should draw a line where we won't allow them to move past or do anything purposeful with the ball.
They can dilly dally with the ball in their own half, and we capitalise on errors or loose balls to steal the ball and then move the ball descisively towards goal scoring.
Every single instance of ball possession is an opportunity to score.
We can't scramble for possession of the ball with anybody, they can have it to their fill just that it won't matter where it needs to.

We came to the party to win with decisive blows, and to prevent the opponent from scoring.
