Lol..you'd make a poor coach with this ludicrous game plan. You giving tactics like a coach playing a community cup in his local govt. 😂. This shows you are quite nervous and in doubt of yourself because of what your opponent coach has said. Good managers crack the code from the get go. Not wait for 25 mins to throw in your best player

Cocony:
Something tells me of a truth Lookman , Akor, Chukwueze and Osimhen should start or even keep Osimhen on the bench for 1st 25minutes such that if those guys(Lookman, Akor and Chukwueze) can't score against Gabon he should be introduced at the 25th minute. I say this against the backdrop of the fact that Coach Mouyouma of Gabon has his main plan as : CONTAINING OSIMHEN.
So if those 3 players should be on ground or the 3 plus Osimhen, Gabonese goalkeeper will concede more than 3 goals altogether in the game.

Lol. I don't trust NFF to take any decisive action. Not even in the heat of all this mess. These people are allergic to accountability. Dem never pay match bonus for close to 6 years, na under 48 hours Dem wan come pay...? We overestimate these people.

Woh- abi make we just forget the World Cup and prepare for AFCON... 😂

The devil in charge of Nigeria is a very hardworking sucker.

Like can't we just do something right for once! I'm tired
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by M7even(m): 6:18pm On Nov 11, 2025
Exactly..all you need is your winger to turn up like a lamine yamal on his best day. And you are good to go. Why waste a substitute like that.

Odunayaw:
In essence, waste one substitution because of what Mouyouma said?

As far as the wingers keep their full backs very occupied, Osimhen will always be free

I hope this protest timing won't turn the blame on the players if by any chance they lose on Thursday.

It would have been better they protested during the last 2 matches than wait till the playoffs to do so.

I'm all for dragging the NFF by their corrupt balls, but why in the **** does it have to be in this dying moment?

People thinking NFF will do anything are just being delusional. Las Las NFF sef go still drag with the staff and players. No be glasshouse Azamen again? With their baseless pride, they couldn't care less. You only need to watch the recent Amaju Pinnick interview in Arise to know how low of a priority these people place national team projects and events.

Painfully enough, NFF won't do squat. I have ZERO confidence in them. We might as well come home now. We can't go to the playoffs with this state of mind. We'll chop better beating. If it were Super Falcons, it would have been better because those girls have demonstrated insane willpower to fight against all odds that I simply haven't seen in the Super Eagles for the past 10 years (except maybe the last Benin game alone).

The boys should have waited till Afcon to try this stunt, by then they would have more supporters of this kind of prank. Doing this now does not portray us a serious nation who wants to be in the World Cup. Looking like a cover just in case we don’t qualify

NFF and players are not serious if the boycott news is true. We all know NFF is not a serious organization but the players don't know the importance of the world cup? Why not protest before AFCON. If they qualify for the world cup for their benefits ,if they failed to qualify I lose nothing .

The players are not serious. I pity some of them who will never play at the world cup in their lifetime. They should have allow Benin Republic win and qualify

JUST IN from Pooja;

National Sports Commission has weighed into the issues as they've cleared all the outstanding of the team before today but the issues at hand is not about the outstanding but special request by the players ahead of the game.

More details

It's not that serious actually. Highest, a delegate will speak to the players and assure them of payment immediately after the playoffs, then training will resume as usual.

I hear you in fact it’s even better they don’t show up on match day so the opposing team can walk over them. That’s a fantastic idea
