2027 Election Loading: Can Peter Obi Still Win If He Joins APC? by CommentatorPro(op): 7:23pm On Nov 11, 2025
Let’s be honest, Nigeria’s political space is unpredictable. Anything can happen before 2027.

But imagine this, what if Peter Obi decides to join APC before the next general election? 🤔

Yes, I know it sounds crazy, but think about it… politics in Nigeria isn’t about party loyalty anymore, it’s about strategy, structure, and survival.

After the 2023 election, many Nigerians still see Peter Obi as the symbol of “a new Nigeria.” He had massive youth support, global attention, and genuine love from people who were tired of the system. But since the election ended, the question remains — can he still pull that same energy again?

If Obi joins APC, it will shock his followers, no doubt. Some will call him a sellout. Others will say it’s a smart move, because APC already has national structure and power.

But here’s the twist:
Would Nigerians still vote for him if he carries the APC ticket? Or would they dump him completely, saying he has joined the “enemy”?

Remember, politics in Nigeria is not black and white. Even Atiku, Tinubu, and many others have switched parties multiple times, yet still got votes.

So, let’s discuss like mature minds:

👉 If Peter Obi joins APC, do you think he can still win the 2027 presidential election?
👉 Or will that be the end of his political relevance?

Drop your thoughts below 👇
Let’s hear the street’s opinion on this matter! 🔥

He will not boy be a bench warmer in APC. If power must go to the South East, it’s between Umahi and Orji Kalu

The assumption is not realistic.

Will he join and win the incumbent in primary election ?

That's never possible, except he's going to the senate, he might win.

No one can predict what will happen in Nigeria political space come 2027.

All the best to all the political aspirants.

If he does join APC, and I can see that happening as it is Naija politics, he is behind both Bianca and Prof Soludo in any elective position reserved for the South East, a long way behind sef.

The answer is NO. The truth is, we all can see the true color of Obi, I doubt if he will get 2M votes come 2027. I'm not Tinubu or anybody's fan cause all politicians are the same, but Obi is not him. #My2cent#
