he's never a governor here but a federal government minister. I hope you know there's state fct minister too.
The president is the elected governor of FCT and he has vested the power of the governor in the minister of the FCT.

Forgive De Joe, we know him already, we really do not take him serious over here.

Does the CFRN recognise a Minister of the FCT as Governor?
Does he have a House of Assembly?
Is he elected by the people?

You are wrong Sir!

Nice one fergie.001. Omo people don't understand what military 🪖 is.

Orders are Orders for a reason. Aah... My boys at Sobi Barracks fit tear person slap for this act.

It can only be Naval or Airforce personnel that can have this type of self-control.

Army? So pe o ti lo 🤓
Wike just wanted to show some sport.
He had spoken to the CDS, and the man said he will go through channels and get back to him, yet, he is doing something else. Watch how he will twist it to Northerners V Southerners, this is his MO.

Ask him what the late Lagbaja told him, when he wanted to take the Army land? He immediately went to report to the President, oga ignored him!

What are you saying exactly.

That a retired CNS has power engage a serving military personnel to guide his private property?

The chain of illegality that brought a naval officer to guide a property of a retired officer will first of all be exposed and head will roll.

I trust Wike to take a legal action against anyone that is involved in that anomaly.

Proving the legality of the property is another case that Wike will see to the end.

Accepting abnormality because it happened to someone we don't like won't end well.

fergie001:
The Service Chiefs will be on call now with AVM Gambo laughing at Wike. When the FCT man said former Vice Admiral, he was corrected immediately, a Vice Admiral is a Vice Admiral, nothing like former grin

Nigeria is not a straight line.

The respect and discipline in the military is top-notch. Gambo is 36RC and the present CDS is 39 or 40, you know how many times he must have saluted Gambo?

If the CDS wanted to budge, when Wike called him, he could have ordered those boys to leave but he didn't, there is a reason why. As it stands today, only Tinubu as GCFR can order those soldiers to stand down and he won't.

There is already a failed coup, once it gets to the Barracks, that a Wike pre-empted an entry on the property of a former CNS, the discontent won't be funny, it will be double the trouble he presently has. So, the Tinubu I know will look away.

If Wike likes, he can visit there a million times, if Tinubu, through the CDS doesn't order those boys to stand down, they will remain there. The reason why the young officer told him straight up, they are under orders.

I see selective moralists pontificating here.

When you enthrone lawlessness, the house is also brought down by it. FYI! Anyone with military blood running through his veins will be cheering the young officer now, even though not publicly.

You have no idea the disdain young officers have for the thieving, arrogant politicians. I feel they even condone too much. Wike is busy revoking CoC and reallocating lands to his cronies.

Eye turn am today.

Read what the CDS is saying concerning the conduct of a soldier in today's trending video. "Every soldier has an element of madness...
For while the right thinking man withdraws from danger, a soldier charges towards it

GENERAL OO OLUYEDE OFR

CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF".

The Nigerian Defence Academy does not produce docile officers. The officer's response reflects admirable composure and emotional intelligence-qualities that lie at the heart of military leadership training. His ability to remain calm, firm, and respectful under verbal provocation demonstrates discipline and professionalism.

Nevertheless, it is both unfortunate and inappropriate for a federal minister to use such language toward a serving officer of the Armed Forces. Public officials should model civility and restraint, especially when addressing those in uniform who embody national service and sacrifice".

Notwithstanding, the case is subject to my scrutiny.

It is shameful that our youths have sold their rights by following those who are destroying them. They are even giving up their positions to politicians who spend more than ten years in office. They have forgotten that they also have a right to those same positions, which are occupied by these greedy politicians.Indeed, this officer should be in his early twenties, handsome, brave, and courageous enough to challenge Wike, a political drunkard who has allocated over $2.2 billion worth of land to his son in Abuja.

It is not about praising this officer, but I closely watched the video I posted, and I didn’t even realize when I started praising this young naval officer. The moment he mentioned INTEGRITY, I nodded my head and realized that we still have officers with strong character."I HAVE INTEGRITY, SIR, BUT YOU DON’T HAVE ANY." This is the biggest disgrace to the FCT Minister. The officer looked Wike straight in the eyes and said, I AM NOT A FOOL, SIR. Then he followed it with "I HAVE INTEGRITY," dropping the “sir” with a smile. 🤣🤣🤣I really want to know this officer’s tribe and the parents who raised him. Today, he has defined himself to the world, while some youths are still praising their oppressors just to continue worshipping them.

Exactly.. Why will a federal minister be using foul languages in public, shouting and calling someone a fool with other useless foul words. It is so degenerate and such should not be condoned from those that represent the government.. You can disagree in a decorum way.. Imagin what he would have done if the guy was a naval officer and an ordinary civilian..

See who speaks about hypocrisy?
Should a Minister not know the law and what to do or try to brag for nothing?
The soldier told you he is under orders, you called the CDS and nothing was done. What is the next thing to do? Call the soldier a big fool? Is that your definition of normality? That is very okay to you?

Otti or any other reasonable Governor will not disgrace himself in that manner to be exchanging words with an officer. You don't know that uniform carries the sovereignty and badge of the President? Unsurprisingly, you have said nothing about the insults he gave that officer who politely showed him what it meant to be taking orders.

The soldier told you he is under orders, it is left for you to take up the chain of command, you don't even need to come there...but he sought disgrace and he got it. When Lagbaja warned him and he ran to report to the President, why didn't he go to Court? What did the CDS tell him when he called the CDS?

He should be apologising to that Naval Officer in a very sane and non-hypocritical environment.
