Insulting a senior military personnel on illegal duty is what you can't do yourself even if it means saving your life.

The Nigeria navy personnel and his men have no business being there. The oga that sent him should’ve done things and handled this matter differently.
This I believe is a civil matter and it should’ve been the police handling this issue and not the military.
Wike shouldn’t have used rude and offensive language on the young man, the naval officer shouldn’t have said that Wike lack intergrity as well.
Wike might be overdoing things but would this military officer have confronted El Rufai in this manner when he was the FCT minister?

El Rufai had same issues with top military officers during his time and they all never stepped out of line. He had problem with Jerry Useni and I think El Rufai demolished Useni’s property and nothing happened. The military deserve respect so does the police that this young navy officer was talking down on. Many of those police men that he was belating and disrespecting have started wearing the uniform before him.

It's not about who first started wearing uniform ibut about rank. He is senior to them in rank

Exactly... I didn't even know he could feel so powerless. So if he expected Fubara to follow orders, I wonder why he would expect the soldier not to follow orders...

he doesn't ,but because Nigeria sees lawlessness as normal that is why many believe a political office holder is above every other person in the society . The federal capital territory security services and apparatus is under the president

Yes, they resisted and he shouted. You have problem with that or what exactly is your message here? If they're doing it the right way, the way it is supposed to be done, why would they be stationing officers there to intimidate people?

Correction noted. I still think that Lt Yerima shouldn’t have been there. This is a civil matter. He/they should be flexing their muscles in more important areas not land dispute.

Wike and Lere his aide are motor mouths but I can’t fault him for being aggressive. His choice of words during the altercation are regrettable though.

Don't mind him, what if the land he collected fron uniAbuja? What of othet people's land he collected and converted to his personal and family land, and also dashed out to his friends?

I support both Yerima (for following orders) and Wike (for enforcing laws). That being said, I condemn Wike (for using foul language against someone carrying out his assignment) and the retired naval cthief (for welding arbitrary power). Case closed!

No one is above the law. Nigeria is not a jungle. Rule of law must apply at all times.

Wike should be a bit more tactful in your approach.

Wike is not one to be intimidated and I trust him to follow through to revoke that land.

As long as the land was gotten illegally then wike is right to reacquire it!

Land that he took from original military allottees and realloted to his cronies...yes. No one, including Wike is above the law.
