ElSudani:You really don't understand how the military 🪖 system works. Even if I explain to you a billion times, you might still not get it. The FCT Minister reports directly to the President, just like all other ministers. But unlike other ministers, he controls a whole territory (Abuja). managing land, security coordination, infrastructure, and administration. So, the Minister of FCT = Governor of Abuja (because Abuja has no elected governor). If you compare by influence and respect: The FCT Minister is roughly equivalent to a Lieutenant General in status. similar to a state governor. However, just like a governor, he cannot command the military directly. Any military order must come from the President (Commander-in-Chief) or a higher ranked officer. You saw a video where wike called the CDS and gave the officer the phone. The CDS knows the officer is following an order! And you can't break chain of order |

Ttalk:Go and learn. Some of you who completed your secondary school education one, two or three years ago, never let people with knowledge teach you. Maybe you think that the retired CNS allocated power to himself. Since you can read, I advise you to check the benefits given to a retired CNS by military authorities. Serving or retired, the man has and will have his compliment of security until he dies. As the CNS, you saw that he had a serving lieutenant on his land, protecting it. To the SA gutter, he should keep his gutter mouth to himself. Unfortunately he can not take off the uniform. The soldier is more useful to the nation than the gutter man, who absolutely serves no use. I wonder how the unlearned man called a whole lieutenant “a small boy”. That was very uncouth. Hopefully he can dare look at the soldier face to face and return in one piece, to confirm if he met a small boy. |

Ok chidiokay:He being there alone should earn him disciplinary action, what business does a soldier have in meddling in civil matters....we all cry about the dysfunctional state of the country but appreciate impunity because you feel it's targeted against ur enemy.....that guy has committed a treasonable offence by brazenly defying a representative of the GCFR of the FRN.....it should never be allowed to stand,he perfectly represents the interests if those sympathetic to the alleged coupist. |

Ikaeniyan0:The next question you should ask is simple. Why are those ideals not present in Nigeria. Military rule is no excuse. Every country in the world started off under military rule. George Washington was military, All of Europe was once ruled by either warrior kings or warrior emperors. Almost all of South America and Asia was under military rule some as recent as the 80's and 90's. The question is, how have these countries managed to transition to proper civilian rule. And I say this because today's Nigeria military is still seen in a lot of minds as quarterbacking this democracy. There is always that air around that institution that they remain the last resort, the bastion of national unity and survival because politics and politicians are relatively less trusted. So the onus is clear. Political leadership is not doing enough to organize society properly. They are not delineating the powers and authority of the military, making laws and prescribing edicts that define relationships, boundaries and influences. And they are not doing enough to portray themselves as more patriotic to Nigeria over and above their constituencies. And until they do Nigeria cannot be compared to other nations. |

MrDoGood:In a billion times yet you don't get the simple logic that a retired officer cannot give orders to serving officers especially in cases involving the government. Is it part of your highly classified information about how the military works that a retired officer will command a serving junior officer to defy the government? Isn't that treason? |

You are perfectly right. Most negative energy supporting the officer are doing so because of hate for Tinubu which automatically transcend to Wike and Wike himself have his own set of haters who care less if he's doing a great job or not but to see him down and disgrace. Nigerians are very difficult human beings, wicked people and envious .......so sad that nothing goes well again in this country, just hate and hates everywhere..... Nothing better than division into pieces...... HgAkpobomeEr: |
