Bro, my advise for you, try and get Uber and bolt. Stay mainly on the Island for now. Mainland will stress you as a newbie. It's easier to learn and earn on the island than mainland. Jamie90: |

Morningstarrr:Good evening bro. My documentation has been completed on bolt and I can start Earning, still waiting on uber as I’ve registered too. I’d appreciate it if you can add me to the Abuja drivers forum as I’d need all of the guidance I can get, Thanks |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Jegheter: 5:42am On Nov 13, 2025 |
Kumuyiii:Honestly drivers have to set standards. I'll rather cancel than appear desperate for a trip. My dignity is very important. Indrive is not like bolt. I cancel like 4 times per day with indrive. Dey never blocked me just their messages bla bla. If u r a high performer with Indrive dey will never block u for canceling. Very smart app. Much blessing bruv |

Good morning everyone. Please I need help on uber registration. I submitted vehicle license where vehicle inspection report or vehicle license was requested for and I just got a mail that my document doesn’t show the vehicle make or model. Taking a look at the document it does show the vehicle make and vehicle type but no vehicle model is listed anywhere on the document. Could this be the reason why it isn’t accepted? How do I go about this as I don’t have the car inspection report or cab road worthiness certificate suffice?

JoaoPedro:I don't know if it's me thas not reading well or if it's your that's not writing well. U submitted Vehicle Licence in place where Vehicle Inspection Report was requested and u are still asking why it was not approved? |

I need some help or advice. I have a car whose current plate number and vehicle details are still in the name of the previous owner, and it will expire in January next year. I applied for a change of ownership and chose Abuja plate number, but it’s been more than one month now with delays and excuses about processing time. My question is: Can I continue using the old plate number while waiting for the Abuja plate to be ready without getting into trouble with law enforcement? Also, if the Abuja plate isn’t ready by January, can I still renew the old plate? |

Pearl1910:Hi, they requested for vehicle inspection report or vehicle license, it’s stated there at the top of the screenshot. I only have the vehicle license and they are not accepting it as apparently it doesn’t carry the car model on it. I just want to know if everybody else has issues with registering with the vehicle license and had to use the vehicle inspection report instead. |

Bro, let's not waste time on this, na Inspection report you go upload there unless you never ready for approval. JoaoPedro: |

Another reason why I can't use Indrive. I'm on Uber 24/7, if you like stay 10mins after your waiting time expire, Uber go start charging you. If your trip get Surge, they'll state it there categorically that they're charging rider for the waiting at surge rate. People wey no like stress lie me, na Uber we dey use😂 And Uber riders dey different from indrive, most of them will even apologize for the time spent, but wetin concern me, both your apology and charge dey my opay account😃😃😂 Kumuyiii: |

Bro, you can drive on the person's name, but if police stop and ask you who get the car, don't tell them its your own, always the remember the name on the document. Tell them you're on hire purchase or rental. But the best thing is to have docs in your name. I know wetin police use my eyes see on that level before I did the change of name. Djdamian: |

JoaoPedro:I don see where your issue lies. Naso Abuja document they be, they do ommit vehicle model. Its the same issue I'm having with adding my car. Even my roadworthiness certificate, they didn't approve it. Find out where there office is , they should be able to sort it out there. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 2:55pm On Nov 13, 2025 |
JoaoPedro:No Sir, u can't. Vehicle license is not in lieu of Inspection Report. There is a place for uploading of vehicle license separate from the space to upload Inspection Report. |

Djdamian:The old plates are valid until the Change of Ownership is perfected and new plate number is allocated to the car. So u can keep renewing d current one until the new plate number and document are ready. |

Muhammadson2020:lol! This is funny and scary at the same time. Can you explain why you think it is a trap, when someone can make 25k a day...if you work for 6 days and rest for one day of the week, that's 150k a week, and 600k a month. Why do you feel that is bad? |

Kumuyiii:lol! There was one girl that made me go to ikotun (I don't like there cos of the traffic at the junction that has 3 roads joining), after waiting for 10 minutes, the girl said she was buying clothes at one bend down boutique that she will soon be with me. I just cut call, count my loss, and canceled the trip. The girl called me 10 minutes later asking why I cancelled the trip. I abuse her life before cutting the call. Some human beings can be so heartless. |
