What you should say is, there will not be peace in Nigeria until everyone is brought under the same law. If the Nigerian law does not permit me from South to carry an AK47, why should it permit a Fulani man from North to carry one freely and roam about causing mayhem? It is as good as saying some individuals are above the law in Nigeria.

Not until we all stop the Fulani hegemony in Nigeria, there can't be peace. We must also stop foreign Fulanis infiltrating our country with the sole aim of causing instability and jihadist movement. The Fulanis are the only foreigners in Nigeria with the sole intent of capturing and dominating it.

Thanks for the clarification. However I do hope that you know that newspaper reporters do quote people out of context, twist words and misquotes to suit an agenda.
I'm not carrying a brief for Buhari as I think he was a terrible leader and tribalistic in nature, however I've noticed several dodgy purported quotations from prominent people,
for example Babangida was supposed to have said that if yorubas are beating drums of war ,he'll go back to sleep.
I think it's easy for northerners to be conflicted about the boko haram issue as they are Muslims and boko haram initially claim to be championing Islamic causes.
Anyway northerners have made many mistakes in the past and now they are paying for it. A conflagration is imminent unless they somehow arrest the situation themselves. Morale in the Nigerian army is too low for them to be effective.
