Trendie247:OSCE? I had many clients use that route. Lagos has two centers. Ikeja is free of charge while Victoria Island requires payment. |

Trendie247:Use the VFS at Opebi, Ikeja. Select 12,1pm as your preferred time. Enter libra from benjack stadium road to jibowu, Lagos. There are hotels at the jibowu park where you can sleep. Next morning, navigate your way to vfs ikeja. Zero charge. Vfs, presidential hotel offers only premium. Hence, the additional charge. |

Trendie247:I read this earlier and only responding based on the other replies you got. Put this into consideration which makes PH a better and more practical option. - Comfort and convenience of you paying and doing it in PH where you reside which makes more practical sense. - Cost of logistics if you’re coming to lagos - transport, hotel, feeding etc - if you do it in Lagos you’d definitely have to pay for courier services to get your passport back to PH. At the end of the day it’s your choice. |

Dear Colleagues, I trust you all are doing well. I need to ask a few questions for those in the UK, Canada and America . This is a question for the people resident not tourist. Aside education route, which other route do you advise is quicker to come over. Kindly advise , even though I have quite knowledge in alot of these routes, I want to hear from someone or people who are ground sharing real time experiences. Thanks |

I am trying to pay for my Visa application fee, but the payment is NOT going through on the website. Is anybody also experiencing this? It's frustrating! I've tried Dollar Visacard and MasterCard, someone in Canada even tried to pay, but it was also declined. |

hunee:Wrong thread for this. Nothing is quicker if that what's you're asking. Other routes for these countries will take you at least a ONE yr so same as student. Unless you work for a company that transfers staff across countries that's possibly shorter |

Trendie247:I will say it is more convenient to pay the 150 and have it done in PH than the additional stress of travel time, hotel/accommodation, logistics, finding your way around lagos etc. The 150 you pay in PH, also includes courier return, sms updates, and assistance with upload of your documents. There is usually less crowd there and you will breeze in and out and go back to your normal day. It's also a familiar environment to you. My 2kobo |

Good morning Pls I need input on this My husband was denied visa based on his personal financial circumstances as a business owner We submitted his bank statement showing salary his business pays him monthly. With payslip from d business. And the personal acct clearly showing “salary” monthly . He was refused based on d fact that they don’t know how much the business earns. I thought if he submitted business acct statement they will say “why is he using business funds for personal travel” Also they are saying he has no family ties. He is travelling alone . Leaving behind his kids and wife. Marriage certificate and kids birth certificate with pictures to show he is a family man was submitted. Pictures of business activities was also submitted. Pls where did we go wrong?? What can be done

I can't upload documents on vfs. Is this a general problem? After ticking the box and click save and upload, nothing works. I have tried many web browsers, same result.

Hello guys, VFS just sent an email that a decision has been made for the UK visit visa I did for my parent and they said they’ve dispatched it for courier. Do you know how long GIG takes to deliver the passport? Also there has been no email from UKVI yet regarding the decision. Is there really any way to know the decision before passport is seen? |

He should have added both business and personal accounts since he claimed to be a self employed, the VO would like to check the inflow and outflow of the business account and compare to his salary account. MsAnonymous: |

hunee:Intra company transfer is L1 for US other countries have a similar visas. US you can use EB1 or EB3 if you qualify these typically require a job offer and are quicker. EB2NIW Doesn't require a job offer but wait times are like 2 yrs plus in Nigeria. |

No xx1v:My cousin boarded Libra from Stadium road . It was a night trip.. she arrived Jibowu, Lagos at about 9am. Paid for 1 hour at the hotel upstairs in Young Shall grow park where she had her bathe and changed her clothes. Then off to VFS Ikeja for her biometrics which was scheduled for 2:30pm She finished the biometrics, returned to Jibowu park and joined Libra back to Port Harcourt that night. She got the visa and is here in the UK with me. Will stay till after Christmas |

Ormohlawlah:Resubmit what you providedI guess And then write a letter referencing the post birth hospital records, I would expect those records to indicate your child's birth date even if you lost the birth certificate. DNA doesn't prove birth date, |

This same platform has adviced against applying with Business account. Because business money is not personal money to be used for travel. The advice that has been given here is to pay yourself a salary from your business acct to your personal acct and apply using the personal acct. So why is the goal post always shifting? miqos02: |

MsAnonymous:I joined this platform in September because I was trying to figure out timelines for uk visa applications due to the fact that every single person that applied same time as myself and family got theirs within 7 days and we hadn’t gotten ours back. I decided to stick around just to be able to offer my own advise whenever I see anyone that may need it as I know their are many genuine travelers who are looking to just visit and return and not default on immigration rules. Not once have I read where anyone said for a self employed individual not to use their business account. Which btw this is one of the compulsory documents for Self employed people. What I have actually read here is : - you shouldn’t use business account as your primary account for personal transactions. - you are supposed to put in both business and personal accounts- your business account shows the transactions within the business and also acts as a link to your personal account where you are likely to pay your salaries into. Their are basic rules but not all will apply for the other. Some rules change based on individual circumstances. For example, I am a frequent traveler( traveled 7 times within the last year and 90% of the visit was to Europe) and not my first Uk visa, self employed. I put in my business accounts and multiple personal accounts. - I sometimes make personal payments from my business accounts such as payment for foods, snacks, travel expenses, restaurants , veterinary care for the animals at home, clothing outlets etc - I pay myself from the business account. So you see in my case that it was fine as well as because I put in a financial schedule explaining personal expenses from the business account and further highlighting payments from my business accounts to my personal accounts. I submitted 2 personal account statements. I also put in my teenage children‘s bank account that showed their own expenses and moneys received from my personal accounts. Even though you seek for advise here, it is important to understand each person’s circumstance and also tweak to suit your own personal situation. |

HorlahTunjee:GIG takes 2 to 5 days within the South West. If there's no prior decision letter from UKVI, then the application was mostly likely approved. Congratulations. |

I heard of a platform that helps through the process and could maybe better help clarify these questions on fees per location. its called Japa united. I myself haven't used it as i already got my visa, but from what i heard it worth checking out. |
