Nigeria 🇳🇬 XI v Gabon 🇬🇦: Stanley Nwabali; Bright Osayi-Samuel, Benjamin Frederick, Calvin Bassey, Zaidu Sanusi; Samuel Chukwueze, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi, Ademola Lookman; Akor Adams, Victor Osimhen.
I would have prefer Lookman to be on the bench . Moses Simon always tracked back to assist the defence

Most people would support Lookman to start ahead of no end product having Moses Simon.

If that happens it will be by mistake. Most of the time he doesn't know what is going on in the pitch. Very confused, weak , cant shoot , cant drive forward with the ball ,except when there isn't any player around him. I am having Iwobi fatigue! Dude need to leave us alone!

Putting Iwobi again in a midfield two when Onyedika is there is looking for trouble, I like our central defensive partnership, Is Zaidu Sanusi the best left back we have at the moment?

Something tells me of a truth Lookman , Akor, Chukwueze and Osimhen should start or even keep Osimhen on the bench for 1st 25minutes such that if those guys(Lookman, Akor and Chukwueze) can't score against Gabon he should be introduced at the 25th minute. I say this against the backdrop of the fact that Coach Mouyouma of Gabon has his main plan as : CONTAINING OSIMHEN.
So if those 3 players should be on ground or the 3 plus Osimhen, Gabonese goalkeeper will concede more than 3 goals altogether in the game.
Who remembers that I stated on the 11th of November 2025: we either go for a 4way attack or keep Osimhen on the bench and the 4way attack is the exact attacking line on parade today?

The reason being that Onyeka is a sort of defensive midfielder not attacking oriented like Iwobi. But my question is how long will it take us to find a proper creative player who can play in the middle of the pack.

A forward line of the four is the most plausible choice, especially when Lookman is available. My hope is that Chukwueze brings his A game on.

I am expecting a Chukwueze goal, An Akor goal and though laughably but possible: a WILFRED NDIDI goal, irrespective of the usual suspect: Osimhen scoring.

Currently? All the other LBs we have auditioned have flattered to deceive.

If Aina wasn't injured maybe he could have filled that role.
