Spainever:ive come to study that its not a matter of general people’s insatiability its a matter of different individual opinion and choices… one certain Mpkuogaliga just came and downplayed iwobi’s relevance to super eagles, when they drop him a certain MinFelix will complain..so it will now be as if its same person….henceforth lets be looking out for any moniker that complains about a player and later complain if the player is not selected…then we can know those that are actually insatiable |

I’d have preferred a 4-3-3 Mf three of: Onyedika, Iwobi, Ndidi Front 3 of: Chuks, Osimhen, Simon Lookman isn’t really a winger or left sided midfielder. If we play a 4-4-2 the he should be one of the two strikers. |

Simon benched. Finally Lookman plays LW as many have clamored for. |

Odunayaw:If you read my position as being fatalistic, then you have not understood me or you have a superficial understanding of my position. I'm a realist. You remove A, put B, remove B, put C, remove C, put D, over a period of 30 years, you are still bedevilled by the same problem and yet everybody as is typical of the black race blames others, no one takes responsibility, no one owns up. I say acknowledge that you, you are the problem. Acknowledge that the disease you glibly criticize when you are outside the system is inside you. I am doing diagnostic work. I'm pointing out the sickness. I never said that the patient should be left to die. I'm only saying that your hypocrisy and self righteousness makes you unaware that you carry the sickness inside you yet when you enter there, you produce the same unpalatable result. It is either you lack sufficient self awareness or you are a deceiver. Before change or healing comes you must acknowledge the problem. We as Nigerians like to believe that the next man, the other tribe, the other religion, the other region are the problem. I say naa. I've seen enough. You and me, we are the problem. Before God changed Jacob's name to Israel, he asked him, what is your name. In other words God wanted Jacob to acknowledge that he was a liar and a deceiver. Because Jacob was tired of living as a deceiver, he replied "My name is Jacob." He owned up. Only after acknowledging that he was a corrupt man, did God change his name. In Isaiah 6, Isaiah said "woe is me. I am a man of unclean lips and I live among a people of unclean lips." It was after he made that confession, that he was purified with tongs of fire. Nigerians are rank hypocrites. We all are. You tell me you are different yet you produce the same result. I say I don't believe you or anybody or myself no more judging by the results after many years and after many changes in personnel. You say I'm fatalistic. How? If you say you are different. I say no problem but that is chaff so long as it is mere talk. Other men, of greater stock have said the same thing only to get into the saddle and do the same thing. Therefore, I say I don't want you to tell me you are incorruptible. SHOW ME. DO IT. I'm tired of empty talk and moral preachments by pretenders and naive people. |

Mujtahida:Delaw, na you get time, me I no Dey fall for all those kind gaslighting. So many on this forum are still very young so when you’re talking of a malady that has bedevil us as a nation for 30-40 years they can’t understand. Like that baby hippopotamus asked the mother why is her lip so big, the mother replied bam bam you too go grow! Phew! |

Honestly, the boycott is what has given me the most confidence. Nigerians do better under pressure. This should be a big win. |

As long As Lookman will be delivering crosses I have no issues with this. But I think Moses will be more purposeful if he is introduced in the second half. Our midfield remains lean. I hope the coach is able to switch things up if things start to turn south. 9JAMac10: |
