This SA ref has made some dodgy calls.

What a silly decision to card Onyeka when he was obviously on the end of very bad tackles.

Hopefully he has no business officiating in this playoffs
same ref that gave us a lifeline by not awarding garbon penalty undecided

I think Aina and Sanusi are solid options.

For me, it’s our midfield. We still lack technically sharp midfielders that can control the tempo of a match
they need younger understudies. The former Arsenal youth teamer now with Blackburn will do well as Aina’s cover

That kid is good

He is trying. But certainly not wonders -- Yet!

Mybettingtips:
Eric Chelle is doing wonders. The only positive from NFF in recent years. The appointed the perfect man for the job. We are so lucky to have the guy as our coach

No Lemina Goal, No Osimhen brace

Mario Lemina, Gala Teammate of Osimhen having a direct hand in Osimhen's goals climb today is one we cannot script.

If he didnt score, Nigeria wins 1-0 and Osimhen stays on 29 goals. Lemina has really helped pushed Osimhen's legacy forward.

What a brilliant teammate to have. One that pushes you to greatness😁

Thank you lord.

Alhamdulilahi.

Oh, I take back everything I said about Ejuke.

Meliforme. God bless you.

Are you guys not entertained..

Let’s cool down watch Cameroon and Congo.

Thank you everyone for the love and support.

2026 World Cup. We are here..
God bless you too.
We are entertained.

It seems like we needed to take Gabon to extra time, just to show them big brother things.

It is Fredrick for me.
He and Ndidi brilliant.

But a defender can't win my MOTM in such a game where Gabon had 4 shots in 140 minutes and Nwabali only made his first save in the 119th minute.
Gabon had no attack whatsoever.

This was an attackers game and Ejuke even before his goal added the much needed bite that gave us the impetus to go at Gabon.

Created the best chance of the game in regular time and scored the goal that kickstarted the rout. Did more than both Lookman and Samuel combined.

A sweet win but I still see the Eric Chelle is still sorting out his set up. We still have lots of work to do with our transition from midfield to attack, especially when dealing with a compact midfield.

I give him props with what he is doing with Ndidi but he needs to really work hard in building a more fluid midfield players.

I hope with time he switches to a more rich midfield set up.

Benjamin Fredrick is going to be a star!
So composed and confident on the ball...
Plus he appears to be cool headed and disciplined..

It's just a matter of time before a big team snap him up or Brentford integrate him into their first team....
Either way, I'm glad we have him and Bassey ..solid CB partnership...

It's the full back position we should worry about now...
That boy is so well grounded in the rudiments of the game. So lovely to watch. Bassey is a mainstay, by the way. He , Bassey has become the boss in that back line! Honestly, I love Benjamin and Bassey's combination. Their combination is full of harmony

Aina, I agree..Sanusi is sometimes hot and cold, but he is solid... but I still feel they need better backups...
IMO, our midfield isn't that bad....it's the selection process that affects their output...

Zaidu did a good job today. Osayi tried but not too convincing. Aina would be back soon. There's also Agu and maybe we could be able to get kayode Michael too.

Watching the 2nd SF. The final will be a bigger test. I hope Osimhen will be in top form. Because we need to take a very slim chance to nick it.

Nwabali the biggest regret from this defeat. A very egoistic player that likes to be the centre of attention.

Time bomb waiting to happen
