A sweet win but I still see the Eric Chelle is still sorting out his set up. We still have lots of work to do with our transition from midfield to attack, especially when dealing with a compact midfield.

I give him props with what he is doing with Ndidi but he needs to really work hard in building a more fluid midfield players.

I hope with time he switches to a more rich midfield set up.
They should all go and rewatch the match , and see their errors , make corrections and do better come sunday ..... i couldn't find a fault all through . if you find one , please share . IT QUALIFIES TO BE A CLASSICAL MATCH

Zaidu did a good job today. Osayi tried but not too convincing. Aina would be back soon. There's also Agu and maybe we could be able to get kayode Michael too.
Osayi has always been shaky. Na only fight he sabi

Osahi is a confirmed farmer player, we miss Aina too much.
Benjamin is rapidly growing in confidence and play, what a revelation even at the back right he was solid and sturdy

We have a lot to take home from this game wish we mend our net against next match on Sunday

Benjamin star boy all the players should contribute and give him double of his bonus.

Osimhen you warrior you but please don't give me heart palpitations again with that chance you fluffed.

Ndidi was almost dropping another mid performance before he turned to prime Declan Rice in extra time.

All round good job boys now please finish the job on Sunday.

Thank you God.

Regards

Kai. I go stay but not today. When we qualify, I go stay.

Elyte89. I ran ooo. I was watching in the office. Decided to go home in the believe we will win. Close to my house, I packed by the road side, open thread and saw 4-1.

God, I've never felt like this before. I couldn't take it.

After the Match

OSIHMEN Na just OSIMHEN

FREDRICK no suppose sabi ball like that, boy too good

IWOBI obviously played his heart and organized the midfield

MOSES pressure got us the first goal

EJUKE Should continue like this

NWABALI was on form but he most always show himself one way or the other

EKONG held down the rest of the game cleanly

NDIDI surprised only people that don't know him at his best

AKOR redeemed himself

BASSEY is a defensive road block

CHUKS tried his best when he was on

LOOKMAN should get his head in the game

OSAYI wasnt bad

FRANK is indeed a tank

ZAIDU was Alright and played his part

AWAZIEM is good let's be honest here

AROKODARE came in late

CHELLE should take his flowers, right changes and tactical switches

But I noticed he made 6 changes isnt it supposed to 5

Osimhen said he would do everything to take Nigeria to the World Cup," Mouyouma said at Thursday's press conference.

"I think Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has already answered this question and demonstrated by scoring four goals against The Gambia.

"Against Burundi, he did not return to his club to prepare for the next fixtures. He stayed with his teammates to show that he really wants to lead the national team to the World Cup. So, I have almost nothing to say about Osimhen's words."
It's motivation, a call to unite his team behind him. But he also said in the last Afcon that he would do everything to bring the cup to Nigeria.

"Unfortunately, Ivory Coast won. Well, these are motivational words that everyone uses without conviction. It’s his opinion alone."

There are claims on Twitter that Ndidi will miss the playoff finals because of the yellow card he picked today. He apparently had on earlier in the qualifiers. Can anyone confirm this? If true it appears Onyeka or Onyedika will start on Sunday.

I was stunned into incoherent speech.

But trust Victor to miss the easy ones and score the difficult ones.
