The ref gave us a life line that was a clear penalty for Gabon
We could have still won the game.

Good win but our midfield will need to improve in the final.

I think we are better off dropping Lookman for Onyeka. Onyedika will need to start since Ndidi is suspended for the final.

Start off more solid and if need be, get more attacking later. My proposed formation:

Osayi
Fredrick
Bassey
Sanusi

Onyeka
Onyedika
Iwobi

Chukwueze
Osimhen
Simon

That was a clear penalty . We should be grateful 🥲 to that ref
It’s a soft pen but on the balance of the entire game, we were the better team.

All things being equal, with the quality and intensity of our match with Gabon today compare to what Cameroun and Congo are currently playing, none of the two teams is a match for us.
They are not even close to Gabon we defeated hands down, quality-wise, they are just playing Gidigbo football.

I told u all this guy na thermometer fan.

Several of us were frustrated with Osimhen's misses but we didnt talk down on his quality. So one bad 90mins made u twist the story of Osimhen's transfer truth. Na wa.

9JAMac10:
We see why European top teams are not in a rush to sign Osimhen. What was that !!
Just imagine this nonsense said. "We see why he is in Turkey" as if he is also not UCL top scorer delivering on the biggest stage of club football globally. Smh.

You are not a Super Eagles fan. You are just a reactive football watcher.

9JAMac10:
marquee players are known in games like this. Osimhen had missed 6 chances so far . We see why he is in turkey

I really appreciate and applaud Chelle. He has never been afraid to add talents into his team. First it was Benjamin Frederick, then Tolu Arokodare, then Ola Olusegun, then Akor Adams and now Chidera Ejuke. He knew what he wanted and went for it.
.

Every words I av spoken against that man I take it back. CHELLE I DUFF MY HART.

Dear Chelle,
Pls Lookman must not start the next game, and you dare not play ONLY Ndidi-Iwobi in the midfield against either Cameron or Congo
Watching Cameroon vs Congo so far, I'm not scared an inch

After the Match

OSIHMEN Na just OSIMHEN

FREDRICK no suppose sabi ball like that, boy too good

IWOBI obviously played his heart and organized the midfield

MOSES pressure got us the first goal

EJUKE Should continue like this

NWABALI was on form but he most always show himself one way or the other

EKONG held down the rest of the game cleanly

NDIDI surprised only people that don't know him at his best

AKOR redeemed himself

BASSEY is a defensive road block

CHUKS tried his best when he was on

LOOKMAN should get his head in the game

OSAYI wasnt bad

FRANK is indeed a tank

ZAIDU was Alright and played his part

AWAZIEM is good let's be honest here

AROKODARE came in late

CHELLE should take his flowers, right changes and tactical switches

But I noticed he made 6 changes isnt it supposed to 5
Pooja is that you? 😂😂

I commend Eric Chelle for inviting good wingers who can do the job.
Childera Ejuke, Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze are all good wingers who can deliver.
They are all talented.

E don do abeg 🤦‍♀️
Akinsanmiro will get his chance with the future Olympic Eagles maybe as an overage.

With everything Adams did in this game, he should be Benched? I will prefer Adams plays as a Left forward or Ejuke as a LW instead of Simon

He is the most technical midfielder that we have for now.
I prefer him to Eberechi Eze, that's all I can say for now.
