If you actually wrote those two last sentences, then what are you on about. Which player is a finished article? Let the so-called Haland come play for Akwa-Ibom, South Africa, Turkey, and Morroco in just a month to test watsup! TheGoodJoe: |

I'LL POST THIS AGAIN... My Coach: Éric Sekou Chelle! The right man for the job. This man knows his job. We all know how we use the same set of players every international window. This man came and introduced: 1. Benjamin Fredrick 2. Igoh Ogbu 3. Felix Agu 4. Tolu Arokodare 5. Akor Adams 6. Christiantus Uche - Started benching Ekong because he's not at his best. - Won the Unity Cup (even though it's a friendly cup) but at least we played serious teams to win it. - Kept experimenting with different players, including debutants so as to get his best starting XI, never lost one match in the process. - Picked Nigeria already on the brink of missing out on the 2026 FIFA World Cup. - Played all the matches in front of him, going UNBEATEN and eventually qualifying for the playoffs and winning the first game CONVINCINGLY! - Kept delivering even when the entire country didn't believe in him. - Played 10 games, won 7 and drew 3. I know he has one or two improvements to make, but... WHAT A MANAGER! TAKE A BOW, ÉRIC CHELLE! 🫡🙇🏾♂️

We can all see the Super Eagles looked fresher in extra-time than Gabon. Rest is key! Bossoflife25: |

The Super Eagles I watched today will win the AFCON! How dare you put up such performance with 2 days training and a day rest! This team is coming together, and the world should be scared. Ndidi and Benjamin what is really going on? Were you guys on drugs!!! |

Osimhen has an extremely strong mentality. Those misses during the game would have completely dampened the spirits of most players. Man soldiered on till he got his goals. |

Odunayaw:To be honest I’ve not seen the eagles played such kind of accurate passes in that first half. They did nothing wrong but to score in that first half. Chelle has finally given Amokachi and his fellow sexy and penetrating passes exponents their desires 😂 |

Did you know – Amas Obasogie got a yellow in this match on the bench? |

TheGoodJoe:Thank you for saying this! I gbadu Osimhen but there are aspects of his game he can improve. Imagine we lost this match in ET. People for swear for him for his missed 1v1 right at the end of regular time. |

caprikon:In the interview I just watched he said he asked his teammates if it's straight to penalties, when they told him there was extra time he said he was sorry and he will correct it. Correct it he did! Elite mentality |

Where was this version of the Super Eagles in our matches against Zim, Lesotho and SA? Had we played like this we’d have qualified a long time ago. That first half is probably the best I’ve seen Naija play in years. |

Like Lookman yellow, like Ndidi yellow: Another potential blessing in disguise Ndidi was massive today after much criticisms but on sunday, one of Onyeka and Onyedika will start due to his suspension and I believe it would be a good one from a tactical POV. I expect that Wilfred Ndidi's yellow will be a gain tactically like Ademola Lookman's yellow was in the lesotho game prior to a make or mar Benin game. Lookman's yellow gave way to Chukwueze coming in to star vs Benin. Ndidi's yellow despite his monster showing today is going to give way to either a rerun of the Afcon 2023 Finals Runners-up Midfield pair of Iwobi and Onyeka or an Onyedika coming in to pair Iwobi (unlikely knowing a bit of how Chelle's mind works). Frank "The Tank" Onyeka's goal got us into the playoffs... Now he will have a chance to push us further agaisnt a solid DRC midfield that has Sunderland's Sadiki. Frank's workrate and BTL runs alongside Iwobi's flair and eagle eyes in midfield is no novel combo. It is an Afcon final-attaining MF Combo. There is as much chemistry in that duo as we have in the Iwobi-Ndidi duo. Onyedika is another solid joker in the team's midfield and could be called upon if needed. His defensive positional discipline, ball playing abilities and ability to effortlessly link midfield with the final third either centrally or wingwards is in my opinion, a sure starter trait but knowing Chelle, he will likely come from the bench unless we wanna play a 3 man midfield. In all, whoever Chelle picks will present a strong midfield presence and possibly upgrade in Ndidi's absence. |

forgiveness:It is very clear you don't even know what an end product is. Give the several instances where his dribbles came with no end product, or forever seal your mouth. A player that could have gotten an assist had it been Osimhen converted the one on one with the keeper scoring chance he set up for him after going past a player. |

mrwilliams9:It was too sweet and catchy to the eyes, you'll think it's another set of players. The last time I saw something similar was in the Confederations Cup years ago against Spain, with Mikel bossing the midfield despite us losing that game; that was another spectacle by the Eagles |

Sugarboyy:Either is fine. My bigger issue is ensuring we have 3 men in the midfield |

forgiveness:Must a dribble result to a goal scoring opportunity? Dribbles are done for many reasons. A player can dribble just to free himself from a tight space and keep his team in possession of the ball. That is one of the reasons why Ejuke's ball retention and control is the best among Super Eagles wingers. |

forgiveness:A good decision equals a goal scored. When an decision results to a goal, the goal makes the decision the right one. You cannot conclude a goal scored or the action that led to it as a poor or bad decision. |

Can’t wait for the Intercontinental playoff draw on November 20 (Yes, I believe the SE will win on Sunday 😜😁) As it stands, the SE are the 2nd highest ranked team that will potentially play in the March intercontinental playoff, only behind Panama.. |

Meliforme:All his dribbles ended wayward crosses. One instance out of many wayward end products. Baba, go watch the match again. |
