lordm:But people will always produce trash, do you expect them to eat them? The blames should rather be on the people in charge of collecting refuse, even in USA at one point the garbage collectors in Chicago went to strike demanding for pay increase, go and ask people what their eyes saw |

No, it's not the people. If you place the facilities there correctly, people will use them. I'm thinking of getting a third drum cos the truck has refused to come get the trash. Is that my fault too. I see it all over |

Respect to you, Babtunde Fashola! What he did as governor with ease, subsequent adminstrations are struggling with it. Fashola is the only politician I will go to any length to vote for as president. He is the only person I can spend every resource I have to campaign for as president. Mind you, I am not a Yoruba. |

There are several receptacles approved by government where people put their trash. The people are to blame. Gentlelife50: |

lordm:Is Luke you haven't been to these places, those so called receptacles are filled or are not even there. Prompt picking up of refuse by the refused collectors is the problem, during fashola time people were even sweeping their streets in amukoko because the guys will come and must always come. |

I was on the road linking Meiran to command yesterday 14 Nov., 2025 it was an eyesore. Heaps of stinking refuse filled a well constructed road of around 4km length. The inhabitants just turned the whole length of the road to refuse place. The inhabitants should be held responsible. The Meiran to Ile-iwe axis road should be closed to motorists until the residents clean it off before opening it just as what is being done to dirty markets. It should be the same approach because as soon as lawma clear this refuse, another will surface within 2 days. The only solution is to close it for days. The residents will themselves act responsive and do the right thing |

MomohMrMoore:I think, there is a disconnect somewhere, PSP people are not picking refuse, Maryland, Surulere, Lekki, V/I, Ikeja. Drive round. ![]() |

Nostalemate:FIDE in-play tournaments are mostly open rated with little prize pool, and it's very highly competitive. How can someone actually compete and win prizes? Genuinely asking |
