To be honest I’ve not seen the eagles played such kind of accurate passes in that first half. They did nothing wrong but to score in that first half.

Chelle has finally given Amokachi and his fellow sexy and penetrating passes exponents their desires 😂
did you see those passes through the middle in the first half

Brooooo! Sleek one touch passes o, the pitch too helped greatly, like greatly.

Even Unity Cup, we played some good football on Brentford's pitch.

With the score at 1-1 in the 11th minute of added time, Victor Osimhen, found himself alone, facing the goalkeeper, with the ball at his feet for a 2-1 lead and qualification just a minute before the final whistle.

But the Galatasaray striker missed this unmissable chance! Unbelievable!

Bro make I no lie Ejuke was poor before the goal.

His game picked up after he scored.

Still needs to do more to be a starter.

BankyGee:
He did well today... Like very well and I know he'll build on this momentum.

True True.

n.b. but CHAN stain him white sha

BankyGee:
I'LL POST THIS AGAIN...

My Coach: Éric Sekou Chelle!

The right man for the job. This man knows his job. We all know how we use the same set of players every international window. This man came and introduced:
1. Benjamin Fredrick
2. Igoh Ogbu
3. Felix Agu
4. Tolu Arokodare
5. Akor Adams
6. Christiantus Uche

- Started benching Ekong because he's not at his best.
- Won the Unity Cup (even though it's a friendly cup) but at least we played serious teams to win it.
- Kept experimenting with different players, including debutants so as to get his best starting XI, never lost one match in the process.
- Picked Nigeria already on the brink of missing out on the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
- Played all the matches in front of him, going UNBEATEN and eventually qualifying for the playoffs and winning the first game CONVINCINGLY!
- Kept delivering even when the entire country didn't believe in him.
- Played 10 games, won 7 and drew 3.

I know he has one or two improvements to make, but... WHAT A MANAGER! TAKE A BOW, ÉRIC CHELLE! 🫡🙇🏾‍♂️

Yeah, if Osimhen can add extra efficiency in front of goal then we will be talking of him matching Haaland like numbers.

Victor is now at the level where as an opposition defense you can't prevent him having chances to score only pray he doesn't convert.

mrwilliams9:
Thank you for saying this!

I gbadu Osimhen but there are aspects of his game he can improve.

Imagine we lost this match in ET. People for swear for him for his missed 1v1 right at the end of regular time.

Scoring a goal after missing ample amount of chances given your reputation and knowing how many stupid drafts have been stored for you, ehn, he for no comot shirt but e reach to comot shirt.

Lol. Same here. 😂😂😂

I only watch for EPL for the banter and drama, but you see that emotional attachment, I no get am with any club at all. I've flip-flopped between Chelsea (because of Mourinho), and Man U (because of Ferguson) so many times in the past, right now I can't say I'm 100% for either side. If I'm supporting any club now, it'll likely be Fulham because our boys choke for there. 😂
I started watching premiership after Atlanta 96. So I feel like there's nothing more to see. I've watched the best and then my passion for it just waned. I feel a sense of loss but it is what it is.

The only connection I still feel to football is national football.

I follow the various international leagues as in I know which player is where, who is playing who, scorelines etc but I don't watch it except maybe highlights.

Maybe that's why I feel the fortunes or misfortunes of the SE affect me deeply.

I thank our players for giving us - we whose only club is the SE - the opportunity to dream.

Not just flowers but a garden of roses.

Everybody stepped up. This is how a team should be. At least now other teams will know we have threats and landmines all over the pitch

Benjamin Fredrick playing CB like ManCity's Akanji was a delight to watch.

Evading a press, swift ball carrying and accurate passes.

A performance he capped with a fine assist for Osimhen's first goal.
That boy can comfortably play in the midfield.

Now he is walking on eggshells.

One more card, no intercontinental game for him.

Sometimes, the urge to prove must be suppressed when the future is your focus.

Excellent tactics.

Pls Osayi should not start our next match.

Imagine if the referee had given the Panthers, a PK as a result of that shove by Osayi.

The deflection that led to the equaliser, was also from him.

His defending leaves a lot to be desired.
To deflect is now a yardstick to being a good or bad player?

Yes, he pulled the shirt but is there any good defender out there that hasn't caused a PK or near PK situation before?
