Elite strikers like Victor make it easy to get assists.

That said you're correct full kudos to Awaziem for that long ball.

Emmy450:
Awaziem deserves his flowers for that pass
That was a beauty to be hold.👌

If CAF don't place a total ban on the use of lasers during the AFCON, it will overshadow what could potentially be the best AFCON in recent years... I was surprised to see it being used during the game ...
And against Nwabali

Scoring a goal after missing ample amount of chances given your reputation and knowing how many stupid drafts have been stored for you, ehn, he for no comot shirt but e reach to comot shirt.

Had it been card no dey dey, I been want make he comot shirt again after the second goal 😏🔥
Abeg..nothing fit make me query Victor for removing shirt..
E reach to remove trousers sef..
The guy has put smiles on our faces, so I no dey look his faults at all..his positives have overshadowed his negatives.
See as he carry SE for head like gala..
If he was in the previous matches, we won't be playing playoffs..
Abeg..Victor, we love you as you are..

Benjamin Federick individual highlights vs Gabon

Omo, we've really unearthed a true gem in this kid...and the future looks promising with the likes of Vince Osuji, Akinsamir, Tebo Uchenna etc already in the picture

our team is becoming solid everyday , the SE now have a reliable depth , the match was won from the bench , that is a good thing to happen to our football .... DRC is another team to crack , they are physical , strong and can run .... i think Gabon is more tactical than them . Chelle should have the key to unlock that physicality , i still prefer them to Cameroon .
We are very physical too o but more tactical than most west, east and south African countries.

You see that assist to osihmen for his first goal? He carried the ball through the middle like a creative midfielder

This is worrying though. How come most of these players don't know the key details of a match before the game day?

Who's in charge of communicating these important messages to them?

Today, Osimhen wasn't aware there would be an extra time after a full time draw, while in the game against Benin last month, they didn't know we had to score 4 goals to stand a chance at the playoffs. This showed why Nwabali was wasting time after our third goal. 🙄

We need to do better in this regard.
It’s a shame that even fans know more details than our players. But our players sef shebi they are all on social media so why are they too that ignorant? Abi na only comedy skits dem Dey watch? Haba

The thing sef shock me cause we've never really produced a defender this exciting...typically we get to see one or two exciting wingers or strikers and defensive mids, but Benjamin just take his own to a whole new level.

Mali will be looking at Eric Chelle and be wondering why they ever let him go.

Who else saw the big hug Iwobi gave Chelle yesterday?
No African team can hold on to a coach when Nigeria is calling not even Senegal or Morocco

Even Hugo broos if Nigeria wants him today he will dump SA very fast 😂

Was it not "most of these players" aka his teammates who told him?

Meanwhile, why are you still running with that " they didn't know" talk when it has been debunked?

Abi no be Ronaldo and Portugal lose to Ireland yesterday?

Everytime improvement, improvement, improvement. For a striker that's topping the bloody UCL goalscoring charts.

This guy own criticism no dey ever seem genuine. He always looks for Osimhen to make an error to justify his improvement chant. Osimhen paste two for extra time he no come talk again o, for person wey need improve him finishing.

Osimhen was just off yesterday, abi no be the same Osimhen we dribble round Bodøe Glimt Goalkeeper for UCL? Or better still the Göztepe match wey he entirely DELETE the keeper even in a tighter spot than yesterday?
Even the yesterday, he no off throughout
Only for the 90 mins
For extra time, Monster Machine said I will fix it
And fix it he did!!!!

See mad mentality Monster!!

This is why I actually wanted us to go through the playoffs route..
I know the more games we play, the more solid we become as a team..

I dare say we will win the AFCON or at least go all the way to the final

And if the world cup was sometime soon, I am backing us to win it..

This team has ability, skill, spirit, momentum, togetherness and unity..
It will take a team that has a greater degree of these to best us

Bro make I no lie Ejuke was poor before the goal.

His game picked up after he scored.

Still needs to do more to be a starter.
We don't need him to be a starter
Just a good sub is enough
He's not good enough to start for us..

Also his defensive work can be better
He was badly positioned when Lemina scored that goal...

He should have been covering for Osayi who went to win that header
Ejuke was behind Lemina ball watching, instead of tackling or challenging for the ball
