Now he is walking on eggshells.

One more card, no intercontinental game for him.

Sometimes, the urge to prove must be suppressed when the future is your focus.
How many cards has Osimhen ever gotten in the SE??

We don't need him to be a starter
Just a good sub is enough
He's not good enough to start for us..

Also his defensive work can be better
He was badly positioned when Lemina scored that goal...

He should have been covering for Osayi who went to win that header
Ejuke was behind Lemina ball watching, instead of tackling or challenging for the ball
False.
Ejuke has nothing to do with that error.

Don’t make dt mistake…dis is still an osimhen team ,d only difference is chelles style of play will always create chances in a match …it’s left to u to score
Every team needs stars..
No team can go far without stars..
Yes it is an Osimhen team
But the team is learning to score and win games with or without him..

We are making progress
Chelle is doing very well

Ordinarily I would agree but our regular starter Chukwueze isn't consistent enough that's my worry.
True that
Chuks wasn't up to par yesterday
Consistency issues still ..
He has to find it
Sometimes I feel it's a lack of desire to apply himself..
I might be wrong

Watch the game from when Osayi went in for the header, even this clip shows Ejuke should have been tighter on Lemina

Simple
Yes osayi will get the blame for the weak header and the deflected goal
But if Ejuke was in position, he would have intercepted that lose ball, or blocked Lemina's shot or forced him wide..

Simple stuff

Look again. Look at where Lemina was as at the header. Then look at when the ball was with him.

Osayi's job was to track him from driving a run near post and Ejuke's was to dissuade him from passing to the guy in between

Was it not "most of these players" aka his teammates who told him?

Meanwhile, why are you still running with that " they didn't know" talk when it has been debunked?
No, they weren't, he said the ref told him. Watch the interview again.

Meanwhile, during the Benin game, Collin Udoh mentioned in an interview that he was the one who texted the bench to inform them that one more goal would seal the playoff. That was when Ekong and the rest started hurrying Nwabali.

With the score at 1-1 in the 11th minute of added time, Victor Osimhen, found himself alone, facing the goalkeeper, with the ball at his feet for a 2-1 lead and qualification just a minute before the final whistle.

But the Galatasaray striker missed this unmissable chance! Unbelievable!
all he needed was chip the ball over the keeper and its over. This kind of thing is not hard for Haaland to do
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dannyxy(m): 12:38pm On Nov 14, 2025
You know, the best part of Benjamin Frederick’s game, he is not just defending the ball, he is always on the lookout of what to do with the ball to progress the team movement up the pitch.

We've gone past that now, two better goals came from the lad afterwards. Let's focus on the next match.

Wetin you understand or misunderstand?
Akinsanmiro is an average if not below average player for now playing for a hapless team albeit loaned out to a hapless bottom placed team.
I will rather make a case for including a GIFT ORBAN in attack than an Ebenezer Akinsanmiro in our midfield based on all Serie A matches both have played.
Conclusively some recommendations seen and supported here bear some undertone of ethnicity. Same with not calling out Ademola Lookman's flaws just because of an APOTY award.
welcome to my block list ☺️

See Ehn, Gabon is a very good team, very good team, again we will dispatch drc with more ease than Gabon.

Gabon has very technical players, they were just only outclassed. I dare say they would beaten Cameroon very well sef.

First clip
Ejuke should have been closer to Lemina
That's all

If he was, I don't think Lemina would have gotten to the 18 to make that shot..

Basic defending for wingers:
If your fullback goes inside to make a tackle, you man the outside
Ejuke Should have been in front of Lemina not behind and he should have been defending on his wing, not in the middle

Former Injuries he suffered might make him rethink his decisions.
Baba don't dribble as before cus of fear of getting one.

My opinion.

even the Simon that came in for him contributed nothing
That's not true, Simon stretched their defense by running at them and drawing them to himself, reason why Osimhen and Adams Suddenly started to get some space to create damage, which wasn't really happening in the first half.

Lookman was actually doing the opposite always drifting to the middle ( Adams and Osimhen were already present), trying to take a shot which never yielded any results. In fact it led to a dangerous counter from the Gabonese.

Thank you osayi🙏

If not you deflected that ball, match would have ended 1:0
And it would have taken a toll on Osimhen but you gave him the chance to redeem himself 😊😊😂
