Kumuyiii:I’m not saying it’s not profitable, it is. I’m a building design and site engineer, I sometimes drive with my personal car whenever I feel like and I can net 20k on just 3 trips in less than 2hrs. Of course it’s profitable, but there’s something about it that just feels like a trap, that’s why I encourage anyone who has a career to pursue to do so and not be carried away. That’s my point! Some people can get into it and get carried away because of the profit in it. But if you cool with driving you have no issues, it can afford you a standard life I think And why you go dey feel less because you dey drive, especially when the car na your own? Ahh! |

Pearl1910:He can though. I submitted license few months ago and it was done. Except there is new policy to that. Uber registration can be very frustrating. They are too advance . |

JoaoPedro:If the license youb upload is blur, any simple details missing, Uber won't accept it. Ensure is very clear before concluding is Inspection report. |

Jeoman:See as far as Nigeria goes, eh bros... Lol... Let's say my profession for instance, my side in IT.... I can count how many top level positions earn up to 500k on indeed... 700k ure talking IT manager level... And it'll have to be medium to large company... Small organisation with IT manager, you'll be see 300-350k....MANAGER OOH, do you know how learned you'd have to be, to be an IT manager? What certifications? Ok... Unless you have plans to japa, my brother, SADLY, driving uber(if its ur personal car) remains top paying jobs in Nigeria.... Check the percentage of business that closed down when emilokan entered, shut close, inflation crippled them... Na me(by Jesus' grace) sustain my wife own till she stand, many BIG business have exited....but many uber gees still dey game.. Still gallant... Abeg, if you know small economics, what do you call such resilience? The job is as fanciful as you make it... If it's all you've got(if it's ur car) , you're BLESSED.... Maybe corporate people spend years, 15 to 30yrs, even with their promotion, them no dey net wetin uber man dey net per month, if you have a strong back as a driver, you strong generally, sky is even ur limit... Abeg leave talk... No job is supposed to carry you away from ur purpose (which is to love and serve christ the king) not uber not CEO of shell.... It'll take you YEARS in most cases to build a business into profitability.... Uber kicks in immediately and kicks in good.... Low risk, freedom, unlimited earnings depending on individual, no employee worries and unhealthy burden to carry, salary and monitoring who's stealing and who's not serious, etc... Abeg let's not hype business as if it's one heaven, neither should we hype 9 to 5...i was earning 1.4m in dubai monthly, company provided accommodation and transport, na only food adey buy, even that one some locations go still give you.... But many times there, i felt to come back and just jeje enjoy the gentle pace of my self employment... Even till now if you offer me same job, unless you give me option to choose my location, I'll maintain my uber work... The abuse and self esteem torture i faced on the job, no money can heal, my person wey dey do care work for yankee, na so oyibo dey make am feel like say na dog, lol... Abeg abeg... Anywhere you see peace and fulfillment, no matter how others see it, dey there, whilst asking God for direction.... It's not always rosy at the other side, be it business, uber or 9 to 5... |

Once again i feel the need to reiterate, ur success in this job depends on many factors other than engine size. 1. Location, staying in an area with high income earners will always put you ahead. 2. Your overall experience, to make the most of ur time and fuel. 3. Ur packaging. 4. Driving style, significantly affects fuel economy. 5. Not taking stupid trips. 6. THE SOUNDNESS OF UR CAR(you see this one eh?) 7. Cost of ur parts... Na why adey avoid Toyota(cus this bites HARDDD) MOST important, Jesus. Bible says, little is much, When God is in it.... Na why some people no fit understand why some people are okay with their uber work, them no fit relate to why person love him work... Cus he's seeing the fruit of his labour, real fruit.... When i been dey iyana ipaja, omo. Hm.... Na God move me go badore in form of eviction from landlord, from badore to Abraham Adesanya (even sweeter) , i didn't know God was repositioning me, omo.... Anyway, good luck to newbies here, you'll learn on the job in time, you can't learn it all from here no matter how much you read, God be with u. Drive safe, i see some drivers driving above 80km/h 😂 wer una dey run go? Pity ur self nd family, also, it's bad for fuel economy.... Maintain 75 to 80km/h |

Start in very early in the morning from somewhere Jankande, Agungi, orchid, you will get better surge ride to phase 1, Admiralty. dont go to ikoyi or VI in the morning because most times, you won't see ride back because most people you take from lekki to VI are going to the office. Run the whole of lekki, Ajah, Sangotedo, etc till around 3. By 4, any trip to VI or IKOYi is good, you definitely see rush time trip back to lekki, if you get another back to vi or ikoyi, run am, you'll always get trip back till 9-10pm. For a start, you no go too stress with that time table. Avoid all those hoodlums by the road side urging you to take short cuts, it's always police trap. Stay safe man! Biodun1929: |

Djdamian:Do you have your recipt of purchase, change of ownership, court affidavit and police extract? With these documents you won't have problems with them, but since the papers are up to date their is no need telling them you just purchased the car. Alternatively let the former owner know your predicament, so you will be calling him. You can be telling them it's your friend or church member, that he borrowed you the car to use for a while. But make sure they don't see those documents concerning the vehicle purchase. |

cyif2003:My brother it is well... You can't control people, some folks are just careless and behave anyhow.... Most people drive for others, hence why i was advocating for better conditions for them.... If God give me provision tomorrow and i decide to invest in uber business, I'll remotely be shutting down the cars at 6 or 7 pm,depending on when they start, my drivers MUST take rest, they'll take a bigger cut than me.... I see as rendering help than a business, passive gain rather than major... Na heart has always been my weakness, i pity them when i see them sometimes... Especially those without AC, adey feel like helping them restore it... But you'll be surprised most deliberately turn it off, those ones na danfo drivers wey dem give sedan, you can't help them.... It is well |
