they need younger understudies. The former Arsenal youth teamer now with Blackburn will do well as Aina’s cover

That kid is good
We need to do everything to convince Kayode of Brentford. Just that his thrown will be invaluable

Wetin you understand or misunderstand?
Akinsanmiro is an average if not below average player for now playing for a hapless team albeit loaned out to a hapless bottom placed team.
I will rather make a case for including a GIFT ORBAN in attack than an Ebenezer Akinsanmiro in our midfield based on all Serie A matches both have played.
Conclusively some recommendations seen and supported here bear some undertone of ethnicity. Same with not calling out Ademola Lookman's flaws just because of an APOTY award.
I am an igbo, I want Lookman to start the next match. And I want Akinsamiro to be invited. And another thing. i want Kayode to be convinced to join the SE. So dead this your agenda

Shey you see how he makes every game about himself attracting negative PR. and agents are watching. Maybe he has no desire to leave Chippa United.
I've you noticed he concedes cheap goals like uzoho. When lemina struck that ball, he was in the best position to prevent it from going in because it was his near post. Against Zimbabwe, that was the same thing. He allowed a dull pass pass under his arm and into the path of the awaiting scorer
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Mujtahida: 5:27pm On Nov 14, 2025
Why is it that our matches are often dramatic to the extent that even if other countries play the same day, the focus of international media will be on Nigeria?

This is why other African countries don't want us to qualify because we will take the spot light off of them.

Dey play. Wait until you know who comes to start telling how Benjamin plays in a low level league who cannot make the bench of an EPL side.

That Tosin plays for Chelsea and has shown proven quality against bla bla bla.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Tosin we de gba for Chelsea. Make that guy no near Super Eagles oo. I follow for people wey been de talk say make we call am.

Looking at it now, I think he's weak on that side. Cos check out his save against Angola at the last AFCON.

Keep Osayi far away from this team. That boy is crap.

In our next match, don't break up the combo of Bassey and Benji to feature error prone Ajayi, rather play Awaziem as a right back.
Very good. We need aerial presence at the back. Dr Congo are good at Set Piece. Infact thats their only hope of scoring.

And your best are always abroad…

FIFA should consider limiting the number of diaspora or binational players a national team can field. Take Nigeria, for example—its local league struggles to produce top-tier talent, yet the national team often relies heavily on players developed abroad.

This is cheating in my opinion

Bye
You talking, can you compare the quality of play abroad to the quality of play in the NPFL

Pray he doesn't go and see some NFF ogas with brown envelope and they end up forcing him on Chelle.
Instead of Tosin making the WC if we qualify, we should pick Nwaneri
Which Nwaneri?

If the team qualifies for the World Cup the only Euro born player I think will be of great importance to the team if he accepts to switch is Brentford’s Kayode

Not that he is coming to bench Aina but will be a worthy and more experienced competition to the Forrest right back

By God’s grace if Chelle qualifies this team for the World Cup and performs well in the upcoming afcon the nff should give him new and longer contract

I believe this will afford him time to blood in younger players to the squad

Trust me, if Kayode chooses to play for the SE today and him and Aina are available, Chelle would rather prefer to move Aina to LB and play Kayode as the RB. Chelle won't bench any of both

🔴Reminder: Super Eagles Lads on a yellow and at risk of suspension (if they get a 2nd yellow) from the Intercontinental Playoff when we get past DRC

Frank Onyeka - MF
Amas Obasogie - GK
Victor Osimhen - ST
Stanley Nwabali - GK
Alex Iwobi - MF
Calvin Bassey - DF
Tolu Arokodare - ST
Bruno Onyeamaechi - DF

NB: Ndidi misses the DRC game but will automatically be back for the Intercontinental playoff when we get past DRC. Similar to how Semi Ajayi missed the Gabon game due to suspension but is now available for the DRC Game.
But is it confirmed that these bookings will carry over to the intercontinental playoffs?

Abeg in the absence of Ndidi on Sunday, who would captain the team on the field? Could that be Benjy?
After Simon, I think iwobi is next in line for the captaincy... I might be wrong..

But I'd like to see osimhen wear it....

Bro make I no lie Ejuke was poor before the goal.

His game picked up after he scored.

Still needs to do more to be a starter.
This is a lie undiluted.

The pass he provided for Osimhen to score was before the goal or after the goal?

This is unbelievable
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m):
Yes, they will carry over. It is cancelled only before the World Cup Proper e.g. Ndidi will serve his suspension vs DRC but if he is yellow carded again in the intercontinental playoffs final, that yellow will be wiped if Nigeria makes it to the WC Proper.
Under FIFA rules, yellow cards are carried forward until just before the World Cup.

Note:

Scenario 1: If player A has a yellow card from MD 1 (or any other matchday before the last) of the WCQs and bags another yellow on the final day of WCQs (including playoffs), player A will miss the WC Proper Opener.

Scenario 2: If a player has one yellow, and does not bag a 2nd yellow before the WC proper, the one yellow will be wiped off and the player given a clean slate for the WC Proper.

Finito.
