SW leads while SS and SE follow suit. Nice the South leads the train. Meanwhile Sharia and religious extremism is hampering the north seriously

Where is the data sourced from. If it's not from UNICEF/Federal ministry of education, WAEC or NECO or another concrete and primary data source, then it's false.

You cannot use survey to measure secondary school completion rate.

I don't know why the British let a sect of people that abhor education and literacy as the main decider of rulership because of population. To top it all, their religion discourages critical thinking and independency. We have a long way to go

When I see your comments I often wonder how old you are!

Such a shame!!

By the way,the percentage of the SouthWest and SouthSouth in the statistics comprises of all the tribes living there ....not necessarily of a single ethnic group.

Take note.

And stop trolling who no troll you.

Looking at the data, the percentages seem low compared to the actual female population in each zone. It highlights how much work is still needed to improve access to secondary education for girls

Historically, Northerners were educated people even before the British colonized Nigeria. Your ancestors from Western region were illiterates and had to adopt Western education after Nigeria's formation. Now, Northerners face challenges balancing Western and Islamic education, risking mediocrity in both.

Peace!

How reliable is this statistics? I am beginning to think that some of these statistics are used as tool to create tension and force us into loans to subject us deeper into neocolonialism.

While the North has many women of great integrity and education, we should celebrate that such exemplary women are found in every region of Nigeria. Excellence knows no single geography.
