A female soldier, Corporal Marian Agumba, has accused senior Nigerian Army officers of harassment and assault.
She also alleged persistent threats to her life after years of frustration in the military.

Agumba made a desperate plea for help.
She appealed to President Bola Tinubu, the Chief of Army Staff, and the Chief of Defence Staff to intervene.

Agumba said she had served in the Nigerian Army for 13 years with dedication and loyalty.
But according to her, she has faced nothing but intimidation and mental torture.

“I joined the army with my whole heart to serve my country,” she said in the video.
“But since I joined, I have not had peace of mind.”

Agumba claimed that her ordeal began when she refused sexual advances from senior officers.
She said their rejection led to years of persecution and humiliation.

This is just the beginning, military brutality is about to take over Nigeria

This is sad indeed!!! You no go understand how painful it sounds until na your sister dey in such a situation. But once again, most of these women sabi use "sexual harassment" take lie against men. So there's always two sides to a story.

The last female soldier that came out with evidence even if sexual harassment by senior officers got labelled insane, held in a military psychiatric facility and later got sacked. The Nigerian army officer who sexually harassed her is still in service.

This lady needs to be careful. The Nigerian army is like a cult. They protect their male soldiers.

Let her resign simple as ABCD

Resign & live your life on your own terms.

Military profession is not ideal for beautiful women especially in situations where there are no adequate checkmates against sexual harassment by male senior officers.

If it were in an advanced country like the US, UK, Germany, Russia, China, France, etc; where professionalism is strictly adhered to & sexual harassment is highly punished, beautiful women can be relatively safe working for the military.

Same cannot be said of Nigeria & many other countries that officers act with impunity & get away with it

there are proper ways to address this, i can't even imagine that someone in the army for so long doesn't know she has rights and ways to address issues like this...
