It's always sad to see a family, especially one in the public eye, having such a public disagreement. Isaac Fayose's message highlights deep pain over what he sees as his brother's selfishness and betrayal after their family made big sacrifices for his success. While we only have one side of the story, his heartfelt plea seems to come from a place of wanting his brother to change and remember the people who helped him get to where he is today. Fayose, along with Bode George, was one of the most vocal PDP members to insist 2023 PDP ticket be zoned to the South when Atiku and Tambuwal began plans to hijack it for Fulanis so they can have 16 unbroken years in power.

Why will Fayose, a brave dude himself who had stood uo to OBJ, not align with brave Wike who was the direct victim of desperate, treacherous and ungentlemanly machinations of some in the PDP when Obi cowardly fled?

I am not backing everything about the North. In fact I acknowledge the bolded in your post and consider it a huge problem capable of violently fracturing Nigeria for good.

Yet, as an individual who recognises and utilises the principle of stoicism, i.e the concept that the highest good is based on knowledge and how to use it, I can respect and relate with internalisation of family problems Northerners prefer. Regardless of their reasons for doing so.

Such is always better than going public in a world where many do not genuinely care about your issues and mainly use it to feel good about themselves.

Best to focus on search for comprehensive solutions than grant the world audience over your real and painful problems many will then use to satisfy their maladjusted lives and issues rather than proffer solutions for you.

Well said.. BUT realize that the ONLY way to get some family members to toe the right path is to make the issue public. Example, say a child is being molested or maltreated, secrecy is the perpetrators best weapon. Google child molestation within Catholic and Jehovah Witnesses. Trying to keep it within the family was the great mistake.
