basically we are 41st, the next team is 45. So far we dont have a disastrous afcon and the next team plays no more games till march, we will be part of the top seeded nations.
No matter how worse our AFCON is, we can’t fall less not to be a seeded team.

In btw, according to what I found on Wikipedia, separate finals will be played.

I think the draw for the inter Continental play off is taking place this month
So the FIFA ranking after AFCON wouldn't matter

Lol. Normally X is for post-match banter and tomfoolery. 😂

For analysis and reasoned predictions, I rely on Nairaland SE thread and few choice channels on YouTube like EaglesTracker and Football Fans Tribe.

Even this Nairaland, the only place with intelligent contributors is on this thread. If you go to other threads and see the rubbish they write, you'll just weak.
It's awful

Yes ooo. I was born and brought up in makurdi. So I know a little about these things.

After Atlanta 96, a street in makurdi was renamed Daniel Amokachi Street.

Tiv people are usually strong. Very good farmers.

This video is spot on though I would put Egypt at no 4 and replace Zambia with Dr Congo.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8OAGwC2Eak?si=gGjZlsGvC9LuORit
I will put Cameroon and Ghana above Egypt.
Nigeria's place at number is well deserved.

draws for the play off will be made this November 20th oo…current ranking of any teams qualified is what dey will use…
Currently the playoff might look like this

-Panama 31st (if Panama beats Elsavador and Suriname loses or draws to Guatemala, then Panama will qualify directly to the WC, another team from that region will be considered for the playoff)

-Nigeria 41st (if we beat DRC today)

-Iraq 57(if they qualify, they played first leg 1-1 away vs UAE, return leg is today in their home)

- DRC 60th(if they beat Nigeria today)

-UAE 67th(if they qualify by beating Iraq away today, they played 1-1 in their home)

-Jamaica 68th(though have one match left to play today, if they beat Curacao 82nd, they will qualify direct and Curacao will drop to intercontinental playoffs)

-Bolivia 76th(already qualified)

-New Caledonia 150th(already qualified)

If panama wins today and Nigeria wins today…Panama will qualify to the world cup and Nigeria will be the highest rank country in the playoffs

That's an Idoma name. No Niger man bears Akor. Once you see Akor, it's either the person is Idoma or Igala.

I doubt you are Idoma. How can you say you are Idoma and yet say that you thought Akor is from Niger.

As in if an Igbo guy says that he thinks someone bearing Eze is from Akwa Ibom, you'd surely doubt whether that person is really Igbo
I believe the guy is Idoma.
I suspect his question is borne out of the need to confirm the origin of Akor Adams because of series of arguments on social media concerning his origin.
Akor Adams is Idoma period.

I wonder what football has to do with the effectiveness of the Nigerian government from a causal standpoint. If anything, developing our football is one of the fastest ways to eradicate hunger in this country. Hosting the AFCON alone could generate millions in tourism and trade, as seen with Egypt in 2019.

The fact that people like you see football as a mere distraction is the reason why we fail to progress in this country. Because of mindsets like this.
Well said, hosting big soccer tournament can assist in eradicating hunger.

The truth is Nigeria is far away from hosting big tournament as Afcon, Nigeria security issues needs to be dealt with it first, Nigeria has only one stadium approved by Caf.

Nigerians must also have funds to fill the stadium.

The most important point, ordinary Nigerians hate African soccer and they support European soccer.
In South Africa is rare to find people watching European soccer.

FYI, south African government rejected to host Olympics in Durban because they said to host Olympics is too costly.

Like the government did in 2022

If you're hungry just say it make people help you
The money that is used to fund these super eagles trip, could be used to fund poor people.

Panama will be a seeded team since they're the only ones above us, so we won't cross paths at all.

Teams I want to avoid: Jamaica and Costa Rica. These are the only teams I can see wey fit pour sand for our garri in March.

We will beat Jamaica conveniently. They will only come and run just like they did at the unity cup
I can only be wary of Costa Rica

We should try not to concede.
Ndidi should limit his forward runs, so that he can screen the defense. He is very good at it.

With good composition of play, we have the forwards that can crack open the Congolese defense.
We surely have.
