Again our midfield can not keep having iwobi and Ndidi…

NFF, Peseiro, Finidi and Pep Gardiola landed us in the mess.

God bless Eric Chelle. He should have stick to his 4-4-2 .

Is Onyedika injured?
Absolutely not but Chelle just had to give us the Naija version of this.

It would have been less painful if we had just crashed out back in Uyo. At least we'd know where we stand.

What's even more hurtful is that this is DR Congo will not be seeded, and they'll likely crash out against teams like Panama and Costa Rica. They weren't impressive. We just made them look good.

Akinsanmiro was sorely missed. Although then again, even if he was invited, I doubt he'd have done much given the way Chelle set up the team.

I'm willing to give Chelle one more chance till after the AFCON. Winning the AFCON is non-negotiable. We can't lose the World Cup and simultaneously lose out on a fourth AFCON title.

Going to be long before I recover from this.

PS. Isn't it ironic that the formation we've been clamoring for since time immemorial is what did us in at the end? 😂

WE HAVE MIDFIELDERS BUT CHELLE IGNORES THEM.

AKINSANMIRO. UCHE, he doesnt know how to utilise.

Onyedika, he doesnt know how to utilise.

Again, I will say it... I laughed so hard when folks here were praising Chelle for saying he monitors over 500+ players overall or 80+ players weekly. That is cap! Complete cap! You dont monitor that much and not come up with tactical realisations on certain talents monitored.
Akin Uche and Onyedika aren't solving our midfield problems

Can someone change the name of the thread to 2030. Hopefully we will have a better Eagles by then. I'm only pained we let those xenophobic SA go to world cup. Not like Benin deserved it. If they really fought like how Ghana fought in the last playoff, they would have at least gotten something.
Nothing dey the AFCON too, the same set of players that don't have anything to proof, except for osimhen.
All the best see you in 2030

grin very true, we can keep blaming the coach sha as if the materials are there

When I did not see Onyedika starting I thought he was injured.

My belief is that Chelle is not in full control of squad selection. There is no reason keeping Onyedika out.

Ekong is our designated penalty taker, yet he was ignored for an Awaziem who wasn't trusted enough to take a kick.

I don't just know..

Who will transit the ball from the midfield to the attack? Who? I'm asking grin
That is what the coaches should be working on scouting, selecting. We are too stagnant with our selection and it is affecting our game.

Do you suggest we introduce Nwakali at this stage?

I have not been following footie much to know that. But that is what the coaches and scouts are paid to sort out.

Dude seems to always try and avoid injuries when playing for the Eagles. No charge at all except when the opponent is weaker, then he starts throwing in the passes, but with tough and very physical sides or when the game becomes more physical he goes missing

didn’t we in win Afcon on Sunday 2013, this are not issues jare , Nigeria has to fix structures,,we neeed to decide if we want to actually progress and join the best or keep the trying our luck thing with mediocre structures.

Where is under 17? where under 20? where under 23? Where is the league, all we want is for super eagles to keep performing so we can be using them to cover very poor structures, no please….

We have been exposed; we don't have the personnel for the kind of playing pattern we want to see

I have been saying it since Rohr. We do but we are not ready to scout, screen and try out.

The Chelle y'all was saying plays Iwobi out of position
Today Iwobi played as an attacking midfielder yet nothing changed
Is time we stop putting all the blame on the coach when things like this happens

Seems like a good enough time to fully rip into the NFF and let them have it. This NFF board must not survive next year.

My only hope now for a World Cup dream is the Super Falcons.

Well, it depends on what kind of NFF exists by then. 😂

I think this WC Loss may finally shine the spotlight on the Glass house for good. Hopefully, Time will indeed be kind.
