The African Democratic Congress on Monday inaugurated its new national secretariat in Abuja with notable opposition figures such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party’s Peter Obi, both of whom the ADC has been courting for full membership, absent from the event.

E be like everybody dey work for am including Obi and Atiku and everybody. How do you unseat the guy with scattered opposition. Na greed and ego go kill all of una. If Tinubu fit step down for Buhari wey him self know say no smart but for political calculations yet none of these mumu called opposition no fit make simple sacrifice. Obi and Obedients should know that Atiku is the main opposition leader. Without taking anything away from Obi, it would be extremely difficult for him to galvanize people again to face PBAT. He has lost considerable level of momentum. I doubt if he could do anything on his own.
2023 presented the best of chances for him, if he had paired with Atiku. I trust Atiku to make way for him after his 4 or 8 years tenure. In Nigeria, you have to crawl, politically, before making claim to the presidency. Atiku would have been the best route for Obi to get to the presidency. Emotions and sentiments do not win anything. You play the game the way it is played in that location. Nigeria's political terrain is unforgiven and it is not for the faint - hearted.

You guys should understand politics is a game of number and money in nigeria. It is so unfortunate. The earlier u know that atiku owns adc. Peter should do his permutations very well

2023 was not Obi's fault. He wanted to be VP to Atiku, but was rejected. Atiku says he cant be associated with Obi's failure of 2019. That he needs a fresh blood. And with the backing of Buhari's cabal, Atiku thought he had 2023 in the bag. Ignored the G5. Underestimated Tinubu at his peril.

Now Atiku is begging Obi to come and be VP. Meanwhile, Obi don taste limelight, doesn't know weather to go back and be boy boy to Atiku.
