That is very bad advice and a serious safety risk.

Damn! I want to understand something...when you guys say you lost a tyre, do you mean the tyre blow up in motion and became condemned? I want to understand...make I dey avoid these areas you guys are talking about.
Exactly, lucky for me I was already planning to change the tyre yesterday. Second luck I had, it's a run-flat tyre so it didn't blowout but and I was still able to keep driving.

U have to learn to drive first before u start.
U don't have a car yet
U don't have a driver's license
I would advise you find another job or look for how to earn a living, then u learn how to drive, get your license before u start looking for a car.
Even if u don't do ehailing, u must learn how to drive and get a DL as an adult man.
If and when u have ur DL and u are now perfect in driving, and u still haven't had a stable source of income, then u can look for a car and do ehailing. Knowledge of road is d least of your concerns right now.
Funny enough, i bought my car middle april of 2022 without knowing how to drive talkless of drivers license. I dropped the car with my youger bro who knew how to drive. He was driving his own and mine. I went to a driving school for two weeks. Then i and a friend went to pick the car. Then sef my driving license never come out. I knew when police checkpoint closes around my area. So i started driving to work. After like three weeks, my temporary driving license came out. i used it to register on bolt and indrive sometime in june. No one knew i just started driving that car around middle of may. Had no accident. The only issue i even had was understanding how to use the google map fully which i later understood.

Okay.

1. What were you getting weekly from the driver that was with your car, and what exactly made the business a bad experience for you.

2. What do you think would make the business better in your opinion.

I only have these 2 questions.

It’s not as deep as you describe it. Many folks here said they’ve bought extra car with it. Toured two African countries with it. Only a few businessman or white collar job holders can boast of this.

So you can save and retire at your time. I’d agree that it’s limiting.

franksam209:
you are actually not getting any return in ehailing,, it might look like you are doing well, but in reality you are not making anything...
1) you ain't learning any skill or improving yourself anyway because the work and movement will not permit you to.
2)you cannot save for future because there's always one expenses you are trying to sort out, plus up coming school fees, house rent. Mechanic..
At the end of the years you have wasted, if anything goes wrong, even aboki selling iron condemn will be more better than you are.
Because you have wasted your whole life not acquiring any skills because of your busy working schedules, and you have also become poor because you couldn't save for the raining day after paying the exorbitant commission from the useless app company that still charges it's customers cheap fares at the detriment of your fuel and car, which you still end up fixing and maintaining from the little money you having!!!!

After this I'm not talking about this anymore,if you still don't get, then forget about it

1. It varies depending agreement I had with the drivers. It varies from 25k to 30k
My favorite cars I had on the platform was a Hyundai Elantra from 2007 to 2008 and Honda Civic 2003 to 2004. I had a total of about 10 tokunbo cars at one time.

2. Due to so many factors from bad drivers, managers, road, spare parts, etc. Uber is design for owner to drive only..

We all dread the unexpected car emergency
Dealing with a faulty car is stressful enough. Given the high, unexpected costs of towing, plus the risk of being forced to use an unknown and unprofessional mechanic around, do you think paying a small, consistent monthly fee is a worthwhile investment to ensure your car is towed safely and professionally to a repair shop you trust?

Please o, for how would person drive before attaining a driver's license?
Start d process of getting your license first.
It will take at least 3months to get a temp licence. U don't need to know how to drive before u have a license as they don't do driving tests.
While at it, u can be learning how to drive. If u have a car on standby it will be very fast and easy, maybe 2weeks to one month u should be strong on the steering.

You think?

This is just common sense na.

Enroll for a driving school and start the process from there. Most accredited driving school can process driver's license for you after you complete your driving lessons.
