Why not wait till ending of next year towards the end of bear season before buying, because no hope for alts season this year

Because nobody knows when the bear market will end. I don't do short term trades with crypto, I only buy what I'm comfortable holding for a very long period of time or sell at a price that is multitudes higher than my average cost price. I buy at levels that I like and hold for the long run.

Same way alot of people were waiting for ending of this year to sell their coins even when the market was bullish last year ending. The market is now very unusual, anything u want to do, just do it. Don't be surprise next year ending might end up becoming bullish.

Honestly, this is my worst year financially in terms of investment. Every day, I regretted ever coming in to crypto.

Everything is always against me while trading. When I buy, market is going down, when I sell, market boom.

I honestly can't express my pain yesterday night. What in God's name was that manipulative move? And for you to know, everything seized on Binance. You can't sell or buy until they finished their heart desires. I'm regretting honestly and I really wished I didn't make this financial mistakes this year.

I know the market will recover, but the pain, the sad image manipulative move will always make me to hate trading.

On this note, I hang my boots! I wish you all well and I hope joy returns back to the market.

I still have my coins but I'm completely out of crypto. My sanity is very important.

Where I circled black is where we are. It couldn't break the blue line into the euphoria zone.

The place the red arrow is pointing will be the dump that'll make everybody give up and start shorting, then it'll pump, attempting to retest the blue line, but won't — it's a move to liquidate late shorts.

I saw this post on X and I like what he said, especially where he spoke in favour of leverage.

Coupled.

one of my best friends just told me his portfolio is down 90%

he wasn’t gambling.
no leverage, no casino trades, no reckless risk taking.

he just spent the last two years dca-ing into the wrong projects that looked promising and narratives that made sense… until they didn’t.

his mistake wasn’t greed.
it was believing that “being early” is the same as being right.

and there’s a lesson somewhere in that.

most people think the biggest risk in crypto is leverage.
it’s not.
it’s conviction in the wrong story.
it’s thinking a small cap lottery ticket is a “long term play”
it’s assuming time will fix a bad bet.

sometimes it doesn’t.

the reality is unforgiving.
you can be disciplined, patient, and responsible… and still lose if your selection is wrong.
edge isn’t about avoiding mistakes, sometimes it’s simply about avoiding the wrong narratives.

i’m sharing this because a lot of people are quietly in the same spot.
they think they failed.
but in reality, the market was never designed to reward everyone who holds.

this cycle has humbled more people than you think.

the takeaway isn’t “don’t buy alts”
it’s this: discipline won’t save you if it’s applied in the wrong direction.

When you invert your chart, bear market will become bull market. So, for me, e be like say bear market no dey exist again even though it does.

Now, with the chart below, if the market dumps, it's considered a pump and if it pumps, it's considered a dump.

I'm not advocating this strategy, but it's what I'm doing.

I don't have a herd mentality, I have a directional mentality. At every stage, people say, "Only Bitcoin will run, altcoins are dead."
Critics would always find a way to do their criticism

BTC is quiet, but it's just shaking out weak hands before the next massive move either to the upside or south.

If you need a clean buy, you wait for a daily close above the recent high to continue the parabolic run to 106141.

If you need to be bearish only wait for a daily break below 91495 coupled with other confluences, then you can pull the trigger. You don't need to force trades, just allow the market do it's thing, when it aligns with your bias, you can pull the trigger.

This means bad times will make you stronger and more determined next time.

People gave up in that range — it was too much. Months to months, we were stagnant.
