This afternoon when my husband and I returned from site....we felt we needed to rest and we headed home.

Hubs said he was craving noodles and I prepared it for him,i was in my garden getting bell peppers and tomatoes when my hubs worker suddenly checked in on us.

I welcomed him in...told him to feel at home.....i came inside and started drilling the holes in my wardrope to fix the handle.

But since i was also cooking,i told my husband to take over while i tend to my noodles.

So he was left completely with my husband at the sitting room....gisting while my husband was drilling the handle of the wardrope.

Caaz:
I remember calling my husband twice asking if he would need chicken added to the Noodles,and he told me no.

Meanwhile when we entered our home from the site.. I carelessly left my hand bag ontop the teevee stand unzipped and the miniature purse attached to the bag.

We entertained him and the rest....it was only when he left i noticed the miniature purse missing....my atms were inside my bag even my other small wallet.

I could recall i was in the kitchen when he left in a jiffy....i waved it off....only to realised later that the miniature purse attached to my handbag has disappeared.

Feel at home nor mean say steal from me nau.

I drew my husband attention to it and he said the miniature purse might fallen on our way home.

I told him.... NO
That i m certained when i kept my handbag that the miniature purse was there.

And this human being na choir for my husband church o....he said i should let it slide that he would give me money to buy another color of the same handbag.

Before you confront him, just be prepared to lose the friendship and the purse together. If you can afford this,go ahead. It is actually pointless confronting him as the best thing is to keep him at arms length.

Biko if nothing dey the stolen purse, leave the matter as is. Your husband might be correct that it fell off.

I even called the alleged thief jokingly to ask if she's sure she didn't mistakenly pack with her stuff when leaving. Imagine my shame when I eventually found the missing item.....biko don't be like me. Always be very strict with handy men and make sure they are always fully supervised while the job they are doing is ongoing.You and Oga should have supervised the mason and then you prepare the noodles after the man has left.I hope this teaches you a lesson.Always draw boundaries; even with domestic workers.You should confront him since he was the only person who entered your home.Even if he denies it , atleast he will know you are not a coward or stupid.
