The Man That Saw The Future Of Nigeria But Was Ignored because Of His Kind Heart by PresidentMUGABE(op):
The choice before Nigerians in the coming election is simple: A choice between going forward or going backwards; between new ways and old ways; between freedom and repression; between records of visible achievements and beneficial reforms – and desperate power-seekers with empty promises", president Jonathan warned

President Goodluck saw those vampires coming.

Monkeys and gorillas are shedding blood

When they made that threat they never differentiated who is the monkey and who is the gorilla.
Now christians and moslems are being displaced and killed as if we are a part of Sudan

Southwest voted massively for a known Bigot because of hatred for Jonathan.

Both Christians and Muslims from that region now see where we are.
When the south west voted for Gej in 2011 they didn't hate him bah ?

I wonder how you guys believe you will win an election by maligning other regions , your candidate will come to the same south west to campaign next year and you think they are so stupid after abusing them to vote for him ? You guys will learn the hard way .

Sentiments apart even though I'm a firm supporter of GEJ, that man was a weakling as a president.

The real sad part of all this is that a few wailers who want to control the country by any means or bomb their country, is that they do not represent majority of their people.

Though one of their leaders have been jailed for Terrorism in far away Finland, they hide behind Christians and Muslims like the girls abducted in Kebbi and Hausa killed for ages, to call for invasion.

Then, one of them will become President of Libya

He was there making quotes instead of doing the needful to ensure the urban bandits, who’re only after power for selfish tribal and religious reasons, didn’t succeed in kicking him out!

This narrative of "weakling" is just hateful. How is he a weakling for dealing with the North as civilized and not playing that deadly politics they play?

Maybe he was too nice for Nigeria then. But being good is not "weakness." Let's shelve this beer parlour rhetoric.

Listen to yourself he was too nice to fight terrorism even though he had the power.
Allison madueke was like a goddess who remained untouched, let's not talk of Dasuki gate. Corruption was almost a legal practice under his watch and he couldn't do anything about it.

Godfathers were busy influencing his decision making, it was as if he was a pseudo president.

Known muslim figures in the north boldly making comments that are suspicious, and violent inciting without being invited for questioning because he was scared of the reactions.

Left alone with Jonathan boko haram would have their own office in Aso rock by now. Let's be realistic and stop being blind supporters.

Under GEJ, that's when the Fulani started inviting their kit and kin from all over West Africa to Nigeria. Under GEJ, that's when they started massively arming themselves. Under GEJ, that's when the Fulani positioned attack cells all over the middle belt.

Did his DSS not inform him? They did. What action did he take? Nothing. He was a weakling and an embarrassment as president. It was under him that the naira started declining against the dollar because he went round the Emirates in the north sharing raw dollars to emirs to induce them to get their people to vote for him.

Indirectly, Jonathan's weakness is the reason why Nigeria is in the mess it currently is.

What about the corruption that went unabated during Buhari’s 8years tenure and the one currently going on under president Tinubu?

I don't know if you were politically conscious under Jonathan. Jonathan's time (towards the end of his term) represented the most progress we made over boko haram of course with America's help. Those who sabotaged it are the APC who are those in govt today.

The Madueke brouhaha and the Northern cabals issue you pointed are not peculiar to Jonathan. All governments have had to deal with them.

But then Jonathan was not a sissy to them as you seemed to infer. In fact, he defied them severally, hence they sabotaging his government. The Almajiri schools for instance was against the Northern elites vocal interests. But Jonathan did it.

When we say Jonathan was nice, he wasn't Machiavellian with his politics. Everybody spoke. Everybody was free to attack him. Anyone could protest. Nobody was being witch-haunted extra-legally. That was against the norm we know in Nigeria.

People criticise him for this and call him weak. But I don't think he was. He was just too plain and civilised for Nigeria at that time.

It was under Jonathan that the CBN and NNPC couldn't account for 20 billion US dollars.

For you not being a president and knowing those who sabotaged his fight against boko haram, what stopped him from dealing with them as a president? Bro if you like write dictionary epistles, Oga Jona was weak for a president.

GEJ was a weak president.

Too weak to hold Nigeria together in this difficult times.

We need a strong head that can look these terrorists eye-to-eye and meet them in the battlefield, bullet to bullet.

We need our own version of Trump.

Go and make research corruption cases in just the single term was massive .
Some popular once are Dasuki $2.1B arms deal, fuel subsidy fraud $6.8B, NNPC missing money $20B, the CBN governor Sanusi personally raised the alarm then. Malabu oil block $1.1B
Buhari made an attempt at fighting corruption even though it was selective. With jona it was a free for all party.

Comparing Tinubu with Jona is a crime against humanity, that man called Tinubu is heartless and wicked. After all said and done, I still prefer Jonathan for the next president, hoping he would have learnt from his mistakes.

Must of you are so screwed that you don't understand the meaning of weakness and strength.

Every simple and democratic person in Nigeria is seen as weak person.

Every hardened and undemocratic person like Wike is seen as strong man.

Tell me any blunders Jonathan made in government that Tinubu or Buhari did not do or doing now?

Most of you in Nigeria need to be visiting a psychiatrist constantly for 4 years to upgrade your mentality because most of you are not existing as humans again.
