The special cell of Delhi Police recently found a mobile drug manufacturing unit in West Delhi's Nilothi Extension and arrested four people from Nigeria and Côte d'Ivoire for allegedly making and supplying narcotics across India.

Drugs worth over Rs 100 crore in international market was seized.

Acting on a tip-off, cops nabbed Ezebuenyi Esther Osita, alias Ella near Dhaula Kuan bus stand on Nov 1 after 17kg methamphetamine and 700 tablets of drugs were found inside her trolley bag. She revealed that she had procured them from one Charles Chimuanya Ebereonwu, a resident of northwest Delhi's Chander Vihar, and was on her way to engaluru to deliver them to Diarra Idriss, alias White Money, DCP (special cell) Aalap Patel said.

Ebereonwu was subsequently arrested from Chander Vihar and 3 kg of methamphetamine was seized. A mobile drug manufacturing lab was unearthed at Tek Chand Colony in Nilothi Extension . It comprised lab equipment, precursor chemicals, calcium chloride, methanol, coloured and transparent liquid chemicals and solvents.

Ebereonwu disclosed that he made the drugs with the help of one Chinoye Emmanuel, who was also arrested. Idriss was picked up from Bengaluru on Nov 7, police said.
Osita primarily used to receive consignment of drugs in bazaars of Janakpuri, Vikaspuri and Uttam Nagar. She then boarded trains to Bengaluru or Mumbai, transporting the contraband in secret compartments of bags.

Ebereonwu allegedly sold the drugs through a network of couriers, and has been involved in trafficking for over three years. Idriss procured drugs from his associates in Delhi, including Osita, and sold them in Bengaluru, remitting the proceeds to Nigeria through informal channels.

This is already a pandemic.

Unlike like the Northern leaders who looked the other way and pandered BH at the initial stage, I hope the Eastern leaders will take the bull by the horns.

Once Nnamdi Kanu is jailed for life today angry. Which I heard from a very reliable source that he'll of course receive nothing less than 50 years imprisonment. Then all theSe nonsense of painting our lovely country bad by his kinsmen will stop automatically

They will rather laugh at criminals caught pushing drugs than take accountability for the ills done at home.

Like how do you guys even think? A criminal is a criminal everywhere. Even in South East. If a criminal is caught na only police fit save am from jungle justice sometimes so what makes you think clowning them online is a solution for the daily evil being perpetrated by every other criminal here in Nigeria?

That's what naturally lawless and irresponsible people do. I.e commit criminal acts repeatedly and then deflect blame onto others when detained.

We are seeing same from Kanu currently while they all insist on his "innocence".
