EdonhappenTv:First question that came to my mind is if these vehicles are from the Nigerian Army? Is the Nigerian government buying weapons and vehicles for these people indirectly? If they can take hold of all these from the Army, then something needs to be done urgently in the military |

How do they get petrol cos I'm sure they don't drive those vehicles to the filling stations in town? |

princeade86:What is wrong with you sef, even a baby born yesterday, my 1 year old alsatian knows those vehicles and arms were captured from the army, some conspiracy theorists will rather say donated. |

VOsimhen144:And who would that be? Maybe Nigeria needs someone who would just divide the country into 2. There’s no reason any Southerner should be in same country with these northerners. Let them find their president |

Who are bandits? Are we even serious in this country?! These criminals are not any bandits but Fulani Islamic Jihadists! |

These people have serious backing in high places. Why can't the government cut off their supplies? How on earth do they have access to these vehicles and artilleries? |

VOsimhen144:You know nothing about Peter Obi. Don't be deceived by his soft voice. He was given the title "Okwute", meaning iron, for a reason. Anambra state was in a deep crisis when he took over but he dealt with it decisively |

A Wake-Up Call to All Nigerians Several years ago, I had a dream that has haunted me ever since. In it, a ragtag army swept across Nigeria—Yoruba lands included—bringing devastation and chaos. The collapse was sudden and complete. Most people were caught unprepared, complacent, or had ignored the countless warning signs. The bandits I saw were ruthless and merciless. Unlike any organized army, they had no respect for life—whether children, the elderly, men, women, or even pregnant mothers. Everything in their path was destroyed. Communities were left in ruins, and countless voices rose in anguish, asking how such calamity had befallen them. Helpless souls ran in panic, crying out for aid from international bodies—the UN, OAU, America, and others. Yet, tragically, these institutions turned away. Refugees flooded neighboring countries, overwhelming their borders. Hunger, sickness, and despair spread everywhere. Many tried to escape the carnage but were forced to turn back, trapped in the nightmare. Even the powerful—politicians, celebrities, the wealthy and the poor alike—were reduced to weak, broken figures. No one believed Nigeria could descend into such chaos. The most painful part was that we had been warned repeatedly, but we refused to take those warnings seriously. I woke from that dream drenched in sweat, gasping for breath. It felt so real, as though I had been thrust onto the battlefield of World War II. At the time, many dismissed my account as unbelievable. Yet today, reality mirrors that vision. Our towns and villages are under siege. What many once denied is now unfolding before our eyes. For years, Fulani herdsmen have been planning. They have encircled Yoruba land while we were distracted—busy fighting ourselves, celebrating with “owambe” music, and ignoring the storm gathering around us. We may hold the pen, but they wield the AK-47. Who truly has the power? These enemies are not only physical but spiritual. How do we explain to our children that a ragged, mostly illiterate, malnourished minority—less than 0.1% of our communities—now holds the 99% hostage? Meanwhile, our leaders remain silent, hiding behind political correctness, while we endure more killings, rapes, and dehumanization. All Yoruba sons and daughters, at home and abroad, should be outraged at the failure of our leaders. God forbid that one day we wake up to headlines announcing that Fulani bandits have wiped out our leaders, leaving us defenseless. The time to prepare is now. The days ahead will not be easier—they will be harder. If only we would learn from history. This is not a call to despair, but a call to vigilance. Nigeria cannot afford complacency. We must demand accountability from our leaders, strengthen our communities, and refuse to be lulled into silence. The survival of our people depends on it. I welcome your thoughts. God bless. —Olanre Francis |

So our intelligence can easily track one blogger writing against the government, but could not track the movement of these heavy duty vehicles,?? |

This is a clear evidence that there are l some powerful people supporting these criminals. North has become home to all sorts of crime and criminal activities because of their religious belief, way of life, believing federal government must provide everything for them and to get attention from the federal government. What is their governors doing with the humongous security votes they are getting from the fg. Mr President must be bold enough to declare state of emergency in many of these northern states if that will bring sanity to the north. |

Nigerian airforce failed Nigeria. We have heard the weaknesses and how fearful are these terrorists, bandits and kidnappers from those fortunate to escape from their hands that they are always scared when they see helicopters. Is 1000 fighter jets and helicopters unaffordable for Nigeria to deploy over every states to every boundary of Nigeria?. |

What is the population of Nigerians and what is the population of this people? Put all the bandits together they are not up to 5k in number, put the total population of Nigerians all together is close to 2 hundred million. How can few people over power millions In a sane country. The only thing we lack is unity the bandits are succeeding because they are united they speak in one voice , they agenda is one ! While the millions of Nigeria are divided by religion , tribe , politics and the spirit of E NO CONCERN ME. the day we stand united and begin to speak in one voice believe even our politicians will not survive it talk less of bandits. Until then the bandits will continue to have a Free party. Imagine bandits having a good sleep while millions of Nigerians can't close their eyes |

Cj4charles:That is my problem with this APC government. Buhari and his government enabled this people which they in turn coined Bandits instead of Terrorist that they really are, so as to down play their atrocities, keep them low and before you realise it, they have achieved their objectives - overrunning and conquering the South. They are TERRORIST, not Bandits. |

JaySmart4422:Nigeria is a complex country with different interest and view, political, tribal and religion interest.it's the joy of some people with what is happening now because they believe politically it will benefit them. Some who have been religiously indoctrinated are supporting them secretly even people in government. Furthermore there are saboteurs and bad eggs among our security agents who are collaborating with and leaking intelligence to these criminals. To some it's time to make money. |

Nonsoco80:In the Nigeria of 1960s, 70s and 80s every military officer was a potential political leader or head of state. The military was the craving of anyone with political ambition and the North was at the forefront. The lust for power is inborn with the average northerner. Focus shifted to Politics since the entry of socalled democracy. Besides Military and Politics, many northerners have found a veritable tool for political power through RELIGION. They have grabbed ISLAM as a sure vehicle for usurping power. In essence, neither military or politics or even Islam is the goal. The goal is POWER. The atrocities and heinous deeds of the jihadists should tell you that they have no interest in pure religion. Corrupted religion is just a cheap vehicle for their nefarious ambitions. Islam is not the only tool evil men employ. In the south, the most evil minded men in the land are massively exploiting the opportunities which Christianity as a religion provides to attain economic goals. While crooks in the North choose Islam as a tool to acquire POLITICAL POWER, the crooks of the south posing with ridiculous religious titles are using Christianity to acquire ECONOMIC POWER. At the end of the day all those who have acquired power of whatever sort form a respectable brotherhood. Our political leaders, terrorist leaders are friends today - have you not seen them party together with mutual respect? Open your eyes and see. Even your notorious christian fraudsters party with political looters. |
