I don't know what is special about the Chinese Rom, but this is my fifth Xiaomi Chinese Rom flagship. My first was the Mi5s Plus which I bought in a Xiaomi store in Hangzhou in 2017. Next were the Mi9, Mi11 Xiaomi 12s Pro and now this one, all bought on Aliexpress every two years. They've served me well.
My very first Xiaomi phone was the Mi4 which I bought on Jumia in 2015.

How does it look like to get a Chinese room phone, how do operate it, does it have English language on it to make it easy for you?

Redmi 14/14c - This naming metric are budget devices.
Redmi Note 14 - Lower midrange
Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro + Midrange/Upper midrange.
The midrange market is the most complicated and hard to get value from these days

The Poco also have this categorisation but you will get value from the Poco X series and the Poco F series.

Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro are budget flagships.

Xiaomi 15, 15 Ultra are flagships same with the new Xiaomi 17 series that were recently launched in China.

Yeah. Poco F5. But it's SD7+ Gen 2, not 8+. Also, by old, I mean, it won't support android 17. Android 16 would be the last. So, yes, I need upgrade next year

Hey guys. I intend to purchase either a Poco F7 ultra or the Xiaomi 15T pro from AliExpress the next 24 hours as it's currently on a discount, but not sure what what customs charge as duty for flagship Xiaomi devices. If you have a recent experience and you don't mind sharing how much you paid, kindly mention as this will help with my decision making. If there's a way to avoid duties altogether kindly indicate too. Thanks

Don't bother. It's Postnl that will handle the order and you'll either wait a very long time for the poco to arrive or you have to refund the order

I hope you remember that the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 is basically a rebranded Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 with a weaker GPU.

But yes, Xiaomi won't give us that Android 17 update

I was simply correcting a mistake. He said Poco F5 is SD 8+ Gen 2. It isn't. It's 7+ Gen 2

Redmi note 13 pro,
Redmi Note 14.
The camera of Note 10 pro and Note 11 pro+ of 2021 beat all of them.

The display and graphics on Redmi note 11 pro+ was the best.

Walked from from Idowu Lane, to Olayeni to Kodeosho streets of computer village.

Spent over 4 hours on these.

People around there, even the sellers were shocked.

Xiaomi is now rubbish.💔

Please where can I get/buy the phone casing?

Once my mum dials a number her redmi trips off immediately.
Not just the screen, the whole phone goes off.
What could be the cause?
