He also advised GEJ to resign because of insecurity that him and APC started. Today, he is helpless. I hope Lagossians can now see that Tinubu is not as good as he claimed he was in Lagos. He maybe a good politician but he is a very bad leader.

I have a feeling he is full of regrets now but it is too late.

It seemed Tinubu signed a deal with the Devil.

The defence minister was the immediate past governor of Zamfara state, the state that is most infested with bandits. It should be considered the bandit capital of Nigeria.

The defence minister while as governor, was suspected of having dealings with the bandits.

I suspect Tinubu offered the minister this post in exchange for a peaceful election. They would not disrupt the elections.

By making him the defence minister, he has employed a wolf to look after sheep.

I suspect that Tinubu would go after the bandits with gusto in his second and final term. Let's see what will happen.

Yes, the system were corrupt and compromised. Infact, that was the primary reason why these special strategies needed to be implemented till some sanity was regained (read about the Wild West). BUT, this solution-oriented implementations was only carried out by a government that was not complicit in the insecurity, and honest in their will to reel out insecurity in their country.

Right from time, Tinubu never cared about Nigerians and governance. All he cared about was how to win his 2027 reelection bid. That's why he favoured his cronies with appointment without considering their individual capacity and experience. I also question the reason behind the appointment of both the Minister of Defence and the State Minister of Defence.

Both men failed their States when they were Governors. The worst was Matawali, the former Governor of Zamfara. What magic do you expect from such incompetent fellow.
