When a man makes money, he plans a family. When a woman makes money, she plans to distance herself from men. Meanwhile she most likely got that money from men
Over 95% of them got the money from men. They open a big business with no prior experience worth tens of millions, it's from men they never married.

Igbo ladies have finally succeeded in breaking the family units apart in igboland! Women now normalise having children out of wedlock and it's quite unfortunate. The repercussions of this supposedly "woke" mindset will be felt in no distant time!
Truly, it is frightening..

Most parents would be shock to find out that most GenZ female are not interested in marriage.
Dogalmighty17:
This is a selfish woman talking.
Every child has the RIGHT to grow up in a home where the father and the mother are present. Eternally rebellious and contentious women who refuse to believe that a home works where both partners answer to each other and the man is the head, are the ones who will rather have a child outside wedlock.

You want to intentionally bring children to this world without a father-figure.
Crap!!!!

These are kids who watched their parents and grandparents and realized that marriage as configured in most Nigerian homes offers next to no benefits to them. And they are right in thinking so, as the indices continue to show that most are better off without marriage, and particular children since they now realize that contrary to claims made by their parents, children -- the result of two individuals having sex -- is a burden/responsibility not a blessing. . undecided

Actually, the trend started before Gen Z, but with the rise in the population of those choosing to go against the grain, thanks to many more Gen Zs making that decision earlier than many from the generations before them did, it has become more visible than ever before as a result. undecided

The vast majority of children out there don't even know where their so-called father figures are, not for many, many years now; and their mothers are still supposedly married to these men who are absent from their children's lives. So, what would make her case different from theirs? undecided

THis is exactly how they get it wrong: rising a kid without the presence of a father figure isn't nice at all.

It is selfish and erodes the family structure, giving rise to a generation of kids that end up being nuisances to themselves and the society

not only in Igbo land, is happening in other part of southern Nigeria, the reason north are exempted is because they married their girls off at tender age, so no time for the oloshoism that many of these southern girls are doing

I will train my girl child well but if she go astray, I will never collect bride price from any man if she didn't maintained her virginity till she wed

[size=4pt] 1. Wrong! The reason a particular set of women in your age group doesn't want to date you is that you are not what they want. They are not the problem. Rather, you are since you seem to be chasing after the particular women who don't want you. You should look for other women in that same age group who prefer men like you or don't mind you. undecided

2. It seems you are late in gaining knowledge that was released this year. Men's biological clock starts ticking downwards and in a bad way from about age 30, while women.... women's clock continues running until the last egg that they were born from their mother's womb runs out. (The recent spate of women in their late 50s and even up to age 60 having babies is a result of some having egg stores that remain intact that long in some cases.) Menopause can happen as late as the 50s and right about 60 for some women. undecided

3. There is no such thing as a biological instinct as far as women and reproduction are concerned. That whole spiel was a made-up lie. That's why more and more women are simply choosing not to have kids at all. undecided

Nature never intended these things as some sort of competition for the human race, but rather as an opportunity to allow for the creation of the best possible outcomes for the entire race. An 80-year-old man with a higher risk of producing defective children and also at higher risk of not being available to see and raise the child is not the best for either the child or the human race, don't you see? nd given the state of our health system, that child may have to deal with health issues for a significant enough amount of time if he inherited possible genetic defects and would not have his parents around to help with the cost. undecided

Some things should be rightly discouraged, not celebrated. undecided

you spoke intelligently. She herself indirectly said so, they re suitors coming but she knows the ones coming are gold diggers.

Mercy eke is smart, she wants what she can’t have. No rich responsible family oriented man can ever ask her hand in marriage, Just as you narrated.
And those are the suitors she wants
Just look around non of the reality star have married from a rich family even when many of them have made themselves wealthy yet no rich family is coming for them. They can only marry criminals from unquestionable wealth.

The choice is yours cool Just ensure you are ready for the inevitable moments: explaining to your children why they lack a father at events like Parents/Teachers Forums, or handling situations where they need a parental figure when you are absent. You must be prepared to fully embody both the mother and father roles, like aunty Tonto grin (she even had to dress like a man on Father’s Day) to ensure your children never feel the void of the missing parent.

Goodluck ✌️
so because of pta meeting, she should grow old and die single when she can comfortably take care of her kids

Rest. How many married men are responsible enough to attend such events in Nigeria? Many Nigerian women are married but single, so don't come up with this narrative.

The ladies aren't perfect either—we can't let them completely off the hook. Things break down on their side due to bad vibes (just straight-up terrible behavior), cheating (stepping out on their partners), hanging with the wrong crowd (peer pressure and wrong advice from single ladies ruining things), and chasing the bag (they dump a decent guy to marry some rich, selfish dude instead). So instead of blaming men, look inward.

Of all the factors one might consider important, it is the postpartum looks that ranks highest in your mind.

Someone is planning to bring children to this world and has decided in advance that she will fully deny them the experience of having a father figure in their life and you don't find that disturbing.

You don't fail to show your double standards when it comes to your fellow women.

That's very low.

Being a feminist shouldn't rob you of your brain or morality
