Hello everyone

Please does anyone know about AB10 specialist hospital? Has anyone done IVF/surrogacy with them?
How good is the hospital and what is there success rate?
I don't live in Nigeria, please anyone that has info about them do well to share.
Thank you.
They are equally good just unnecessarily expensive but the guy is thorough

Hello everyone,
I'm planning to start IVF treatment and would really appreciate honest reviews.
Between Androcare, Bridge Clinic, and Nordica, which has the highest success rate for a single IVF cycle?
I’m particularly looking for first-hand experiences both positive or negative. Cost is important, but success rate matters more to me right now.
Thanks in advance for your help! 🙏
Both Androcare n Bridge are ok

@ blendy77 @Blendy, thanks for your thoughtful input. The hospital I was referring to is PF Medicals. I’ve never been pregnant before or after marriage, and I’m currently 32 years old. Before we started IVF, my husband’s sperm count was perfect. The hospital conducted an HSG, which they said was fine, and the fibroids seen were just small seedlings with no significance.

The doctor also kept saying my lining was perfect, though most of what was written in my file were just diagrams. Since they assured us all my tests were fine, we went ahead with egg collection , 7 got to the embryo stage, all grade A.

We proceeded with the first cycle and I followed all drug and injection instructions carefully. After the 2 week wait, the test came back negative, and there was no clear explanation. We took a break and were left with 4 embryos.

Before the second cycle, the doctor suggested a hysteroscopy to check for possible causes. When I asked for the result, I was only shown a diagram and told there were just small polyps which had been removed. We decided to proceed with the second cycle and also did PRP. The lining was again said to be perfect, but unfortunately, it still came out negative after the 2week wait.

Honestly, I’m still trying to understand what could have gone wrong, especially since everything seemed fine medically.
Blendy77:
IVf is not 100% anywhere Sis so don’t blame the hospital too much (even though I don’t know the hospital u are referring to since u didn’t tag any message). Sit down and do a thorough evaluation of ur body and ur medical report. Are ur tubes opened or blocked? Do u hav polyps? Fibroid? Endo or Adeno? Hav u been pregnant before in the past whether before marriage? What’s ur age range? How is ur hubby’s sperm? What was ur endo lining before transfer? What did u do differently from the first in ur second transfer? These and many more questions u need to sit down and evaluate after which try to find solution to most of them before u proceed on another IVF. If ur tubes are blocked with hydrosalpnx it’s best to take them out or clip them permanently. Was hysteroscopy done before the IVf? Many good clinics now conduct HSG and hysteroscopy ascertain the condition of the tubes n uterus before transfer. Don’t just rush to another clinic cos u will feel worse if you dont get results. Take it easy on yourself and don’t feel too bad cos these Thgs happen. Most hospital put in their best to ensure the patient gets results. All the best. Sending u baby dust

Please stop beating yourself, it's not your fault.
Those people are thieves. They don't show you what they are doing so you are not unto them.
They will only show you diagram and be explaining the stupid diagram to you.
We were three that did transfer none was positive and the Dr refused to see us that he is very busy, thank God they said he was busy we would have spent more money aside the more than 5m he collected
I believe the only way to get positive results there is if you go with someone that knows him personally if not you will just be among their sacrificial lamb.
My anger is them collecting money knowing that they won't do anything for you not that anything is seriously wrong with you that can't be fixed. Sis your post brought out my anger, my husband said he wants to sue them.
Thank God I met another Dr who is not after money but positive results and I got my positive there

Good day family. Trust we are doing fine ?

All the procedures that they said I would do is almost 3M for just one cycle. Sincerely, I have been trying to be strong, have faith, but the spirit of fear has been gripping me.
Am going on 36, DH 40.

Please , fruitful mamas , I want you to tell the best protocol that works for my case- endometriosis with scar tissue and adhesions .

What do I need to tell the doctors and team ?

Please what are the dos and donts that I should observe?

After embryo transfer does it mean I will not lift a finger for the two weeks wait?

I have been on Coast science since last year August, please, when should I stop Coast Science ?Currently on tumeric combo detox.
Please, when should I stop the detox?

Please, is DHEA prescribed for endometriosis patient as part of IVF treatment?

When should I start and stop taking prednisone?

I have read all the thread from the beginning to the end, but because my case is peculiar that is why am asking . After myomectomy, Zoladex for 6 months that sized my period for a year, I still have PELVIC pain everyday, even while on zoladex .

Thank you in anticipation .
You have really done a lot.
I don’t know much about endometriosis as what I had were small fibroids.
Prednisone is supposed to be taken after egg collection because it’s work is to block killer cells from attacking the transferred embryo.
Personally, I would take a break from drugs (not supplements) totally before embarking on ivf journey as ivf comes with a lot of drugs.

Please feel free to ask more. I have been through this journey and got pregnant first try at age 41 so don’t panick mama. Just have faith

Hello Superwomen

Whew! It's been almost 5 years since I last posted here ..I had to scroll waaaaay back just to catch up (my thumb deserves an award at this point), and I still have lots of updates to read. I’m so overjoyed seeing the miracle babies on my timeline... big congrats to the mamas 👩‍🍼. And to those still on the journey, may your testimonies come soon, amen!

As for me... I’m still TTC. Yup. After 5 failed IVFs and 3 IUIs, I had to take a mental health sabbatical (because girl, this TTC journey can humble even the strongest warriors). I needed time to heal, recalibrate, and remind myself that I’m more than just follicles and two-week waits.

So here I am at 37, returning like a TTC learner (even though I once knew more than my doctor 😂 blame it on Dr. Google). Diagnosed at 30 with low ovarian reserve and blocked tubes, and now I’m here wondering what’s left of the reserve grin. Probably just sipping zobo and refusing to ovulate. grin.

I have a few questions for you amazing people:

1. Can anyone recommend a solid hospital/clinic that handles low ovarian reserve cases really well? I’m ready to do some egg banking if this might take more than one cycle (my ovaries don’t believe in overachieving anymore).

2. Any tips on hospitals that offer affordable surrogacy options? My bank account needs to survive this TTC mission too.

3. I have recently been researching more on OVARIAN PRP apparently, it’s the Beyoncé of fertility treatments now. Lots of women are swearing by it, saying it boosts egg quality and even makes your ovaries do backflips. There is someplace in Lagos that offers it but they are quite expensive...And then there’s Red Light Therapy, not just for your face, but now your womb! Specifically the near-infrared 830–860nm kind (yes, I’ve gone back to Googling....forgive me). I am currently using this and I will encourage you to do so...its so good

Ladies, please let me know what you’ve heard, tried, or seen work. I’m here with an open mind, a hopeful heart, and just enough sarcasm to get through another cycle.

Much love and baby dust!
Only thing I can say is YOU ARE STRONG.

I read your post a few years back but coming in now after a while see this, my heart broke.
With all of my heart, I pray you your bundles of joy soon.

I also had very diminished ovarian reserve after I clocked 40 the test was 0.3 abi 0.03 amh. I cried…

When I embarked on ivf they tested again and it was 1.3 or so (I told myself that the ivf clinic was whining me) but I proceeded to. First round of stims produced on two follicles lol that stopped growing at 12mm. That cycle was cancelled.

Second cycle I decide to boost with herbs. I was not aiming for more follicles but quality as the research on those herbs had even less follicle numbers but higher pregnancy outcomes compared to ivf meds only. Like it was almost triple more pregnancies.
So I took it together with stims and got only 3 follicles lol…
The doctor told me that he will do a cocktail with donor eggs which I agreed because I’m almost 41 at this point I don’t have much time left.
So they fertilized both donor and my follicles separately. I was supposed to go in 5 days after egg collection for transfer but was surprised when they called me 4 days after that I should come in that one egg was already hatching wow. I went and they showed me both my embryos and the donor’s. Two of my three embryos made to full blast and mine was the one already hatching. The donor’s embryos (all three of them) stopped growing on that day 4 so they proceed to transfer my two embryos. Meanwhile after egg collection the doctor told me my donor really produced many follicles.

Transfer was swift and then the longest tww of my life! I started spotting on day 11 after tea after I panicked and called the nurse and they asked me to come the next day. I got there and the conducted a beta pregnancy test that came out positive at 3850! I was shocked!! They said if the number is high like then it is possibly multiple. Couldn’t believe it….and I turned 41 few days before the test! Honestly, I kinda gave up on my own eggs and this was my first ever ivf attempt.

Don’t lose hope. If you need more insight please feel free.

Many baby dusts your way.

Good morning everyone,

Any information would really be helpful please. I did my first IVF in UK and it wasn’t successful, I then had another one in Lagos which wasn’t successful as well. However for the second one in Lagos I paid for two cycle. I am considering going for the second cycle as I still have frozen embryos, but then I’m considering exploring surrogacy. I have no clue of the cost implications or the process in Lagos. Every information shared will be helpful.

Thank you
