I no even understand, guy’s game is just too imposing on any team he’s part of! Anyway that’s why he’s world class!

Vince Osuji to replace injured Benjamin Fredricks.

Ola Aina still out and now Benjamin Fredericks set to miss the AFCON

This is a huge loss and our defensive solidity just dropped by 30% with his absence.

Osimhen’s off the ball movement and work rate too good. Na why.

It makes attack over dependent and less creative.

All though I'm not in support of super eagles trying to use the back door to qualify for FIFA world cup 2026, but please read the last paragraph before this information you posted. A player name might appear here pending FIFA consideration and approval.

I just pray FIFA approved his change of country before he played against Sudan and other countries.
Boss where you see this one na cos there's nothing like that on the platform. FIFA's change of association platform is an official tool that FAs use. Why would FIFA put a player's name there when they have haven't been approved? You can clearly see 'Decision date' there. Below is the actual statement from the website:

The FIFA Change of Association Platform is a key resource for the football community, providing details about players who have requested and OBTAINED a FAVOURABLE Change of Association DECISION from the Players' Status Chamber of the FIFA Football Tribunal to change their 'sporting nationality'. This list includes players who have transferred their affiliation to a new MA in order to be eligible to participate for their representative teams in international football. Serving as an essential tool for Member Associations, confederations, clubs, players, and agents, the FIFA Change of Association Platform ensures transparency and compliance, keeping stakeholders informed about which players are eligible to represent their new MA. It is important to note that while a player is still undergoing the process of Change of Association, they will not be eligible to participate for any representative team until the request has been decided upon.
If DRC had made such a mistake, I would even be happy cause it would take a high level of incompetence not to check a simple list. But there's no error here.

Incase anyone's interested, here's FIFA website to check eligibility: https://knowledge.fifa.com/change-of-association-platform

Lol. If you check the platform you will even see more DRC players after Wan-Bissaka. There are two at the top of the list

DRC had to drop two of them from games because their switch was not yet confirmed till game day against Nigeria. Eventually their names appeared on the list 3 hours to kick off against us but they were still not included in the squad.

OGN published a weird news article. Oh yes it is OGN. but there is definitely some smoke here. Whatever it is, I hope we will not be taken on another round of rising hopes, and then finally dying -- a third time. The only thing that brings me from hibernation is the world cup. Osasu, OGN and facebook rumors please don't let me return to NL just yet. If anything let it be that SA has a match fixing allegation.. na that one i go like hear. Benjamin Frederick and Osimhen, see you at the WC grin

unless there is a rule that you cant invite a player that his switch has not been fully confirmed, i dont think the case has any merit. Maybe wan Bissaka and DR Congo is not even the target. Lets see how it goes. We cant lose in this situation really. If there is a case we win, if there is no case we maintain status quo although im of the opinion there is no case. If they want to go to the world cup they can buy the ticket e no cost like that for them.

From what Osasu is saying, it looks like there are even two African countries right now in the middle of the WCQ storm, oh dear!

It's about their rules na; once a rule is flouted, it must be upheld to avoid unnecessary precedent in the future

you know those temporary members we get whenever we want to play african countries or we just lost to an african country? He is one of them. They come, they gloat and eventually they leave never to be seen again till they play us again. The south africans and Ghanaians come here often whenever things happen between us.

OGN has a history of milking trending stories that people are really interested in. Im quite sure they have up to 50 stories on that site regarding that south african deduction. I have also read more false than true stories on OGN so i won't even take that story with a pinch of salt.
