A Nigerian soldier can be seen lamenting about the insecurity in Nigeria and the lack of leadership from the President.

“Nigeria Doesn’t Have a President. I’m Tired Of The Nigerian Army. Politicians Should Bring Their Children Schooling Abroad To Come And Join The Military. These Terrorists Are Killing Soldiers Every Day, Yet The Government Remains Silent. Get Ready, It Will Soon Get To Everyone, Especially The President.” – Nigerian Soldier

He wasn’t just lamenting, he was also threatening. You could see the frustration on his face.

In all of this misgovernance , APC will still win 2027 election

Nigerians are wicked souls that doesn't deserve anyone's pity. APC should continue ruling us to the Golgotha than an igbo man becoming a president. Yes I said it

Nigerian military suffer from collective narcissism. They can never take responsibility, always blaming everyone but themselves. You wrote that post now but it's not clear what you want. If politicians' children join the military today, will that solve the problem you are facing? If you are suffering from lack of sufficient manpower, why not say it and ask the government to declare war on bandits and start conscription? If it's modern tech you want why not say it? All I see everytime is people blaming the government but they never seem to blame the military or suggest solution

Nigerian military need to come clean and admit their weakness so we can all find solutions to the problem. If mandatory military service for all young men will help solve the problem the government should do it as soon as possible. The problem is that they are all hiding from the truth. It's clear that our military is overwhelmed. They should admit it

na blaming the govt you call am

When apc was doing it in opposition it was called "sufferistication" strategy

When people highlight apc govt failures, who entered on the mandate of solutions bearers it is now blaming

He's free to resign instead of causing problem for himself. The Nigerian military is a voluntary organisation

yes that's the problem. It's just politics and thirst for power. The people blaming the government are mostly after power and don't care about the problem. If they get into power tomorrow the APC people now will be blaming the government too hoping to use it as campaign message to enter power. I don't care about politics, I just want the insecurity to be solved

my own is that the same failed apc should admit their failures and f00lishneiss.

But they rather live in a self believe world that timubu is doing one miracle that would manifest "in future"

Na so buhari finish 8 years, na go we dey again

Btw insecurity will never finish so get used to it cos that issue is interwoven with religion, tribe , politics, corruption

So essentially you have cancer without cure unless you like make believe fantasy

This is serious. The military is not a place for indiscipline and cowardice. I hope this is investigated and the soldier punished.

Ye gods! Someone gets the game being played.

I remember many of the people on this site that were saying government was useless in 2013, are now tinubu supporters promax

Likewise many of the gej supporters that were telling us to ignore the problems in 2013, are now telling us that government is useless.

That's why I laugh at both pdp, apc, even lp and secessionist supporters and especially tinubu and obi supporters. NO solutions, just to defend and attack. grin

But when we say more nigerians should pay tax, and nigerians should vote a leader who will get us off oil and into an economy based on industries, so that we can have a defence budget that will pay for better equipment, and so forth, people like you go begin dey shout poverty and corruption

You exepct miracles with scanty budget.? Since time inmemmorial? The same scanty budget gej and now tinubu never improve?

I will reply your post like the gentleman that I am.

It is true that the Military is not an arena for indiscipline or cowardice .

Can you make it make sense how a brigade (comprising of over 4 battalions) will be ransacked by some ragtag hungry looking miscreants with only 2 KIA and the brigade commander will be captured?

If those troops that fled leaving their commander behind are not cowards, then that nomenclature deserves a new definition.

This is the same military that withdrew from a school by 4am based on orders fromhuh? and 30 minutes later bandits harvested innocent children from the same school. Who gave the order?

True there are laws discouraging men in uniform from voicing their grievance on social media.

But with this military!

Let me help you comment.

DSS and army would soon arrest him for blasphemy against the government.

As you can see, he's Igbo going by his name and if that picture is also his, he's not hiding and ready for anything you want to do.

He's already very frustrated and don't fear what you can do.

This is a clear case of a soldier needing mental health support. How can you say Nigeria doesn't have a president?

If you think anyone from our present political leaders is coming to solve Nigeria insecurity problems, you are only deceiving yourself. Insecurity has come to stay in Nigeria because Nigerians hate the true. Those leaders out of the corridor of power blame the government not because they themselves love the masses nor do they have solutions to the security challenges but they just want power and the un-informed masses are sheepishly following them.
If insecurity is allowed to persist, the poor masses will continue to bear the brunt.

The soldier's frustration is understandable. However, he shouldnt have gone public with his protest.
