What he did was wrong but if you are assuming that was the reason for concert cancellations then you are tripping 💯
It is, the clip went viral and a lot of American celebrities talked about it. The few people that attended one of his shows after the incident went there to boo him and pretend to be asleep daring him to send them out. He has bitten more than he can chew with the way he treated the couple and if he does not make amends, he's going to slip into irrelevance in th US. If you get cancelled in the US, you're done!
Re: Burna Boy: Is This The Fall Of African Giant? by ajebuter(f): 5:07pm On Nov 28, 2025
Even Kanye west has not fully recovered from the 'cancellation' Americans meted on him

He carried on with pride and big ego until big labels started cancelling his mega million dollar contracts and blacklisted him

I watched when he went to Jewish Temple in NY to apologize to a big shot Jewish Rabbi and admitted to his wrong doing and sought forgiveness

And that's their own American oo

Not to talk of Burna Boy, a total foreigner

Well, hope he turns a new leaf and jettisons that gutter behavior

You just rise up one day with stupid songs, join illuminati and win one Grammy then start misbehaving. Na wa for Nigerian grass to grace Artists oh. Burma should learn from the masters because even Eminem was pissed off with his attitude. For six decades now Michael Jackson had top ten albums consecutively on Billboard 100 because Michael Jackson learnt from the masters. That's a world record he broke from the grave 3 weeks ago when Thriller entered the chat at number 10. All because of his fans love for him and his music. An ordinary teaser of the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic scheduled for release in April next year was watched by 116 million fans within 24 hours just two weeks ago. That is a world record for a music biopic teaser ever all from his grave. That's an Artist who died 16 years ago and in contrast the teaser of the upcoming documentary movie of Wiskid didn't have up to 20,000 views within 24 hours. In the next 2000 years Michael Jackson fans will keep increasing . Can someone tell these African Artists to start respecting their fans because their fans kids and unborn children are potential fans in the future? Beyonce has won over 30 Grammys but she no dey do gragra.

The day I saw the boy walk out on his mum and grandfather during an interview, I knew his arrogance was of irredeemable dimension and a fall was imminent.
You don't mean it!

Pride is the foundation of fall. Burna Boy thought that Americans fans are like Nigeria fans that does not know their right.

grin grin Very arrogant idiot with a megalomaniac mental disorder, who should be in a mental asylum.
He thought Americans would put up with his animalistic behaviour, like his idiotic followers here.
Just one Grammy Award, one, oo!
And he's behaving like an untamed animal.
Music goddess Beyonce who has 32 Grammy Awards to her name, far more than any other singer in and out of the Americas, doesn't behave or speak rudely to her fans.
An African ape would always remain one, no matter the regalia you put on them.

This is where you find a huge difference between them and Wizkid.

Wizzy still remains the king, with humility, less bragging and almost zero controversy.

I know some people still don't like him because he doesn't do give away....Lol

He was never humble from the beginning. I saw it. Davido, Wizkid no dey humble too. Davido was only cultured, or being advised to which became part and parcel of his new identity, and let say influence of a woman in his life. All those things you see Davido dey do na cheap trick (I don’t hate him, in fact he’s my favorite among the fours). Only Olamide stays different. He remembers where he’s coming from. Open your mind, dot your i and cross your t, you’ll see people for who they are even if you’ve met with them in real life. Ire oo

The money these artists and many others make from Tiktok and YouTube no be here. That is why they do as they do. Those concerts are part of their record label obligations

True true — Nigerians really do deserve the kind of leaders they get!

The agenda against this guy is thick. The moment you rise, the envy follows. When you’re clearly the best in the room, people start plotting. But Odogwu? He always stands tall.

Was his arrogance necessary? No. But the hate and venom coming from his own people over stanship differences is just embarrassing.

What exactly do you gain from tearing down someone who’s doing better?

And let’s be clear — the lies have been exposed. VDM laid it out, Burna confirmed his tour dates, and the man is still selling out shows back-to-back.

Who God bless, no one fit curse. Period.
He has not just been arrogant, he has been downright nasty and mean over the years believing his own hype while in reality musicians are at the mercy of their listeners.

Sometimes you have to tell your brother the harsh truth. In doing so you are saving his life.

As a superstar, you are nothing without your fans. Many people who rose to fame neglect this importance.

When one is not proud it is not a yastic that he is timid ...the opposite of proudness is not timidity but humility and humility is not timidity just as boldness is not proudness or arrogancy.. boldness is assurance of a thing it is the opposite of timidity.

Humility on the other hand is a virtue were one is teachable, correctable...it is a realm were you learn, unlearn, relearn and it's a ladder that lifts one above its equal and keep you up there on that pedestal...that is why is termed character and character is not a gift, we cant receive in it prayer but what we cultivate, nurse and what we choose to learn ...so is a choice .
